Corin had found himself with nothing to do. It was unusual, for within the Volturi there was always something to say or occupy time with. Yet, how to fill those meaningless gaps between a newborn outbreak or a march south. With the unfailing vampire mind, everything was already resolved, nothing to mull over or decide. There wasn't a simple thought that he could dwell on. He had already fed yesterday and his irises were bright red, no need to go on a hunt. The rest had something to do, Corin wasn't sure what, but he knew it would be more interesting than wandering around the place. He could visit Aro, but what to say? The same with any of the other ancients. The clincher was, he knew what he would've done a hundred years ago. Gone and had a meaningful and logical conversation with Eleazer. But Eleazer was gone and there was nobody else interested in just chatting. There really was nothing to do. Corin's museing had taken him round the castle twice, at an inhuman speed. He slowed it right down until his legs were visible when he walked. Maybe Felix or Demetri, or someone was around. They couldn't all be out. He knew for a fact one of them would be in the Throne Room, but it was usually Jane. Jane was too easy to irritate and irritating Jane wasn't a great idea. He could always make conversation with Alec, wherever Jane was Alec would be, but somehow he didn't really fancy it. He grunted. What to do?

Demetri was in a similar position as Corin, though Demetri was not bored. In fact, he was rather enjoying spending some leisure time. Perhaps he would read a book, something he felt he had not done in quite some time. Clad in his robe, he made his way down the hall, one that he had been down countless times. He walked with extremely straight posture, and his head never turned from being forward for that was where his gaze was focused.
As he wandered through the halls, he came across Corin, who was walking at the fsame speed he was. Clearly, he had no where of urgency to be. "Corin," he greeted, slightly nodding his head as a gesture of recognition. "How is your day thus far?" He asked. At least there was someone else to converse with . . . Demetri never shunned company.
[Sorry about the short, slightly uneventful post. What time does this thread take place at? Maybe I will have more for Demetri to say ]

Afton had been sitting in the room that he never needed. He never slept so he didn't need the bed he was sitting on. It hadn't been too long ago that the Volturi Guard had had a meeting about what to do next. Now he was sitting in his bed trying to look for something to do. Maybe Aro would have Heidi bring in some more food. He was starting to get a bit hungry. Chelsea had been out doing some errands for Aro had had not returned yet. So what was there for a lonely vampire to do?
Afton decided to take a little stroll around the castle. As he walked around aimlessly, he wondered if there was anyone to talk to. Jane and Alec were probably in the Hall of the Volturi with Aro, Marcus, and Caius so they was not an option. he decided to go to the Guard "headquarters" and see who was just sitting around. As he turned the corner, he saw Corin and Demetri standing there talking. Good. At least someone was out and about. He walked up to them and said with a smile, "Hello Demetri, Corin. How is your day holding up?"
