Aro had only killed Didyme to keep Marcus with the Volturi. Aro had acted to give his blessing to the two when they announced they were leaving. Aro was aware of this plan before Didyme had told him but Aro had been planning. Trying to figure out how he could keep Marcus. After all Marcus was so very much more important than Didyme ever could be. Aro had hoped Didyme would have had some useful talent like he did but it proved to not be so. She carried an aurora of happiness around her and it certainly was not very useful. Marcus' talent was so very more useful. He could read relationships know exactly how loyal one was to the Volturi or know more about a coven they were facing. They could figure out so much by the bonds they held to each other. Aro would not risk losing this talent nor Marcus. Marcus was one of the leaders the was needed and could not leave. The only choice was to kill Didyme it was the only way to be certain he would not lose Marcus.
Marcus had changed drastically after Didyme's death. He would never know the truth Aro had made up some story and it was easily believed. Who would ever doubt Aro's word? But now it seemed Marcus was wanting nothing to do with the Volturi. It was as if Didyme was still here and had taken him away. Aro could not allow Marcus to not be loyal the Volturi, loyal to him. Aro would make sure Marcus would remain with the Volturi there was no other option. Aro had talents that would allow one to be loyal, make them want to be loyal. Just how much this could affect Marcus Aro did not know but was most eager to find out. He would not lose Marcus he would stay with the Volturi and he would be loyal. It was not just his talent but his position that Aro wanted to keep. Marcus was one of the leaders along with Caius and Aro. He could not leave he had helped them overthrown the Romanians and allowed them to gain and keep their power.
Chelsea had a very powerful talent and proved to be very useful. It allowed Aro to often gain talents that would have other wised not join willingly. Of course if there was a talent Aro truly wanted he would be sure to get it. He would be patient and decide on the right opportunity to gain the talent he desired. Of course with Chelsea it would not take as long. She could simply make them feel loyal, make them want to join. The very reason Aro wanted to speak with her. She could easily make Marcus loyal the Volturi. Make certain he would not leave. Aro would not risk losing him it was not something he would tolerate. Aro made his way down one of the many halls in the Volterra castle. Aro needed to speak to Chelsea privately to make certain no one would know of this. Chelsea would make Marcus loyal without any questions. Any of the guards would do anything he requested without any questions. It was expected of them.

Take my hand let's go, Somewhere we can rest our souls, We'll sit where it's warm, You say look, we're here alone.
---Chelsea stood at one of the many windows facing the outside world, the world which stood around the Volturi home. The countryside wasn't far, and with her vampire sight she could see it clearly, especially beautiful as it was, cloaked in the beauty of the night. Included in the seductive beauty of it was the faint intertwining that almost always colored her vision with lines of pale light. Didyme's death had rocked the small world the Volturi kept to, putting everyone off balance. Marcus especially. Seeing the everchanging, but always there, nightscape put her mind to ease a bit. It was an anchor of sorts. She knew, especially well, how close the two had been, though she hadn't been close to either of them herself. Except by position.
---Soft footsteps wound their way into her hearing, coming ever closer to her. She sighed, knowing that she would once again have to leave her little heaven inside herself and speak to another being. It wasn't as if she couldn't or wouldn't enjoy others. But it was so much more pleasant to keep to herself. Well, with the exception of Afton. And Aro, sometimes. He had changed her, made her something more than the poor Irish wench with a following of men. She turned a bit towards the sound of the footsteps, anticipating one of the guard, or the other not so important Volturi members.
---Speak of the devil and he shall appear. She smiled a bit to herself and called a greeting to the master of the Volturi. "Aro, what keeps you wandering the halls?"She took a few steps so she wasn't pressed against the wall, her deep red dress swirling a bit behind her feet. She wasn't too short compared to Aro, coming only a few inches short of his height. Red slippers the same hue as her gown made no sound.

[[kind of short sorry!]]
Aro smiled at Chelsea slightly as she questioned him. Chelsea was the guard member he had to speak to. Aro would make certain Marcus would remain loyal to the Volturi. He had only killed Didyme to keep Marcus and there was no way he would lose him now. It would had been pointless to even kill his sister if Marcus was still to leave them. "I am most certain you are aware of the recent events." There was always something to be done even with Didyme's death. They still had to make certain their rules were being followed. The death of Didyme would not make the Volturi seem weak this was something Aro would never allow. The Volturi were to be powerful and known by all vampires as such. He would have it no other way.
Aro needed Chelsea to make Marcus loyal, make him want to stay loyal. She often used her talent to help them gain new talents and to even influence current guard members. Aro would make sure everyone within the guard would remain loyal. It was easy to understand why Chelsea was needed within the guard. Without her they may not have gained several of the guard members they had. After all Aro wanted to make sure the Volturi seemed justified in all of their actions. If they were not it would only make everything diffiuclt. There were others ways to gain talents Aro could perhaps come up with some reason to destroy them give them a choice. There were a few others ways, but with Chelsea it was not needed. It made everything that much easier.
"Marcus is not as loyal as he should be. It is obvious the death of Didyme has affected him above all others. This not something I will allow." Aro would not allow Marcus to become disloyal. He needed him to remain with the Volturi. His talent was far to useful and was needed. Aro needed to be certain no one was thinking of betrayal no one was becoming disloyal. With Marcus it made everything so easy Aro did not have to read the thoughts of every guard to know if they were loyal or not. Nor to know who was the leader of a coven they may be facing or to know just how loyal someone was willing to be, someone who was wanting to join the Volturi. It was a powerful talent and allowed Aro to have that much more power. Power Aro was not willing to lose. They very reason he had killed Didyme so he could keep Marcus. So Marcus would be forced to stay with the Volturi.

Chelsea took Aro's smile and returned it with an almost grim one of her own. "I am aware, Aro. It has caused many of us grief, perhaps even a sort of withdrawal, to see her pass." She spoke softly but, even so, her words seemed to come out in a haunted echoing. The castle tended to do that, whispers echoing fleetingly down the halls.
I'll finish this later I swear
