He hadn't been in Forks very long. He'd only come back after Bella and Edward's wedding, he hadn't been there very long as he'd detested Edward, as everyone knew that wolves and vampires did not get along. It was clear on this, he wanted to try and make sure that nobody get injured. He wanted to talk to Charlie, but at the same time he knew damn well that the only place he felt secure enough to do it these days was the station, 'cause he rarely saw vampires enter the station, since the station was usually silent at night, and always busy during the day.
He walked into the police station. "Excuse me, I'm looking for Charlie Swan, cheif of police?" He said as he hadn't been to La Push yet, and he was worried that his father might have lost it when he disappeared as he hadn't told anyone, he loved or cared about where he would go. Today was the first time in months he'd returned. He'd learned about Bella's pregnancy through the grapevine, but other than that, he had no real information about anything. He wasn't even too far away from anyone he loved or cared for, but they wouldn't know that.
He took a deep breath as he waited for the dispatcher to tell him where Charlie was, but eventually he got a little relentless and walked toward Chief Swan's office, knowing the danger that he would probably be in, if something happened to Charlie after he left, because he knew the vampires would think he was behind it, not that he would ever hurt Charlie, as Charlie had been his dad's best friend, for as far back as he could remember.

Charlie came back from lunch, while rubbing the back of his neck. Stress was going to kill him one day. He was drove up to La Push for lunch with Sue, and he was full. Full but the drive home had let his mind wonder and now he was thinking to hard. He gave a grunt as he opened the door to the office, and was informed he had a visitor. They said the man had walked to his office. Charlie gave them a nod, as he was a man of few words, and then walked on heading that way.
Charlie walked back to his office to see--Jacob! Who had been missing. Charlie remained silent for a moment while watching Jacob, wondering what he had left, and why he was back. "Jacob, your looking well." He wanted to ask a million questions. Did Billy know Jacob was back? How long had he been back? Why had no one told him Jacob was back, or had Jacob came straight here?

"Good morning, Chief Swan." He said in a good tone, though he was not one to use an authoritive tone when it came to Charlie, smiling softly he remembered all the times with his father, and seeing Chief Swan there. It made him happy. "How're you doing....it's been a while since I've seen you sir." He was going to be as civil as possible, knowing in case the vampires were watching that he meant the Chief no harm. Smiling softly, he turned to Charlie once more. "Is it possible that we could talk? Either in your office or somewhere privately?" He had alot to say and not alot of time to say it. He wanted to thank Charlie. Because he'd been there for Billy while he was away.
"I just came back into town. I left shortly after Bella and Edward's wedding. I needed some time to think. But I came back when I heard Dad was in trouble." He said as he looked at Charlie. The kind of trouble that his father was in, was not one that required the law to attend to. But Billy had been down lately and he wasn't sure why his father was that way. Possibly because now all three of his kids were not living at home.
