He sighed, This girl was even more thick-headed then himself.. Than Rosalie. Geeze. She didn't give up on anything, until she was sure that she had won the fight.. Or argument, whatever it was. "You don't know that, Bella," He said, his voice emotionless. "I could lose myself.. If I did lose myself, my control, then.." He stopped himself, debating on whether to continue or not. But she had to hear it. As muc has he would hate for her to be scared of him, he needed for her to be scared.. So she would be smart and stay away ".. It would only be a matter of seconds, even less, before you would be dead." He said, keeping his eyes on the road "You can never know for sure that I won't hurt you.. I'm bad" He said. He could be stubborn as well.
He shook his head, when she stated that he was angry. Yes, he was angry, but it didn't really matter. "No, I'm glad you did tell me.. I would much rather you told me what you thought, then not knowing at all.." He paused, for just a short moment "Even if what you are thinking is wrong.."

Bella did feel fear at what Edward said. In a matter of seconds she would be dead if he lost control. He looked away from him trying to control her thoughts as well as her expression. She didn't care, she would take the risk. She wanted to be with him and there was nothing Edward could say to change that. She turned to look at him her face held no fear she was confident in her choice. She wouldn't change her mind no matter how much he tried to scare her. "I'll take that risk," Bella stated simply determined. "You're not bad," Bella replied. She knew he wasn't. Dangerous yes. But he wasn't bad she was sure of that. And from what Jacob had told her he was different from other vampires they lived off the blood of animals though if that was true or not she wasn't sure. She didn't see why not.
Bella had a small smile on her face. She was going to keep her decision take the risk to be with him. But she wonder if it would be hard for him. She didn't want to make this hard on him, what if he didn't want to be around her? He was glad she told him the what she was thinking, even though it was wrong. She frowned slightly at that. |

He shook his head at her statement. Either this girl was just really stupid or else.. she was just really stupid. Had she completely lost her mind? Why wouldn't she just give up and leave? But then again.. Was that really what he wanted her to do? Letting his eyes move away from the road, for the first time, to look at her, he stared at her face. She held no fear in her expression, and that was just plain wrong. As much as he ould never want for her to leave his side, she had to. He would hurt her, she would get hurt eventually. The Volturi wouldn't be pleased if they found out that a human knew of their secret.. If he didn't kill her, accidentally, then they would. "Bella.." He sighed, as she spoke and told him that she would take that risk "Please. I don't want to see you get hurt.." He said, his voice barely a whisper.
Looking back at the road, he noted that they were getting closer to Forks. Soon, he would have to let the beautiful girl go.. He promised himself though to return when she fell asleep. He didn't want to leave her, not just yet.

Bella could barely hear Edward's voice. She knew he wouldn't hurt her, he couldn't. "You won't hurt me. I trust you." Bella was confident in that she trusted him more than anything he wouldn't hurt or let anything happen to her. There was nothing Edward could say or do to change her mind. She knew he wouldn't hurt her. She felt safe with him how could she not trust him? He saved her life twice she didn't care if he was a vampire she trusted him. It didn't matter what he was just as long as she could talk to him, be with him she would be happy. She seemed to always be thinking about him trying to figure out what he was. And when Jacob had told her that story and she had looked up online she didn't know if it was true or not. But she going to act like she knew nothing act like he was normal. Though she knew he far from normal even if he as human.
Bella looked out the window but looked away he was still going a bit fast for comfort. The forest and woods seemed to speed past them she didn't know where they were exactly but figured at the speed Edward was going they were getting close to Forks. They would probably beat Jessica and Angela home even though they got a head start. |

A soft, strained, chuckle escaped the pale lips of the vampire, who sat next to Bella in the car. She was to trusting, she truly wasn't like any other human. She clearly didn't have any sense of survival.. What did she want if not survive, if not live? He didn't believe that she really wasn't afraid of him, and of what he would be able to do to her. She had to be, any human would be afraid. However, not even a strike of fear was seen on her face, and Edward seriously started to doubt whether Bella was a human being or not. All of her reactions were far from human, a human would have instictively run away if they had been told that they could get killed right here and right now. Bella didn't, and that was what made him doubt it. "You shouldn't." He said, leaving it with that.
Soon enough they passed the little sign 'Welcome to Forks' and they were home. Safely home, and Edward couldn't help but be slightly proud of himself. Smiling faintly, he looked at Bella "Did you have a good time?" He asked of her, figuring that he would soon have to let her go.

Bella didn't say anything in response to Edward. He didn't want her to trust him. She didn't see why. He had saved her live twice had followed to make sure she was safe. Even if that should bother her it didn't. She was rather happy having him so close by and felt safe. She knew Edward wouldn't let anything happen to her. She knew a part of him thirsted for her blood, but she couldn't make herself feel afraid it was not possible for her to.
"Yes," Bella replied. She did have a good time she tried to remember back to the 'girls night out' so much had happened since then. The walls between them seemed to gone for the moment, but if that would stay she wasn't sure. She wanted to know more but they were already in Forks. His driving still scared her he drove way to fast for comfort. "Thanks for everything," Bella added. He saved her life and was honest with her that was more than she had expected. |
