Bella was all the sudden unsure about this. It had seemed like a good idea before. After all she had faced the worst possible thing that could ever happen to her. She should be able to laugh at death. It seemed her stomach disagreed. She could feel the fear as it clutched her being on this bike. She wanted to do this. She had to do this. She had to hear his voice again. The dream had come back and it had been even more terrifying. She was alone as always and there was nothing to find. She needed to do this. Bella didn't dwell on the dream for to long soon all of this would be worth it. Once she heard his voice again.
Being around Jacob helped a lot. He was in a lot of ways like her own personal sun. It was hard not be happy around him. Of course there were times when it was almost impossible, but he knew exactly what to do to cheer her up. Moments before he had been upset with Sam's gang. It angered her just as much. To see how much it really did upset him. To know all his friends seemed to be owned by Sam. It wasn't right. She would have to talk to her father about this maybe he could find something out. If Jacob was this upset about it then something should be done. Billy hadn't helped Jake at all maybe Charlie could find out more about this 'gang.'
Bella listen to Jacob as he told her where everything was. About what everything did. She listen intently she wanted to do this more than anything. The quicker she learned the quicker she may get to hear his voice. The thought excited her. To possibly have the chance to hear his voice made her want to do this even more. This had to be the most reckless thing she had ever done! If this worked she was for sure going to go cliff diving. That had to be the most irresponsible thing she had ever seen. She wanted to break the rules she wanted to be a rule-breaker. She wanted to be irresponsible and reckless.

img149.imageshack.us/img149/6598/leahwaynejohnwayne.png [/img] Jake grinned as he showed Bella all the parts of the bike. He wasn't going to tell her but he had hardly slept last night, accident-prone Bella Swan was going to ride a motorcycle. Even he wasn't fast enough to save her if she fell, although he liked to run and practiced quite a bit. Her eyes were extremely distant, he wondered if she was paying any attention. "Hey Bella, your hearing me right?" Jake asked a little tense, "Are you sure your up for this?" He asked He held the bike steady his knuckles gripping the handle with a vise grip. He looked at his own bike, lying against the side of Bella's truck looking lonely with out its mate. He sighed feeling very much the same as it did. Bella seemed to be in a dream world, and even now while her Hollister ex-boyfriend was gone Jake had absolutely no chance. "Alright so for this first ride, just take it easy okay." Jake advised hoping she wouldn't barrel roll into the nearest tree. Knowing her she probably would. He twisted around so that he was in front of the bike. The second he was in front he decided that was an intensely stupid idea and moved to Bella's other side. "You ready to test this puppy out?" He asked, his eyes alight despite his fear for her. She looked so beautiful with her hair all out around her face. It occurred to Jake that they needed helmets, or at least she did. She'd ever go for looking dorky in a helmet if he didn't wear one too though. "Alright when you feel ready go ahead." Jake grinned, "Just don't forget what I told you before."

Bella nodded her head as he questioned if she was listening. "Of course," Bella replied. She was paying attention sort of. She did understand not to let go of the clutch he said to act like it was grenade. Bella looked at Jacob as he asked her yet another question. Was she read for this? Not really, but she wasn't going to be any more ready for it. "I'm ready." Bella replied hoping her voice didn't reveal how scared she really was. She was terrified it didn't make much sense she shouldn't really fear anything, but she was. It was terrifying being on this motorcycle, but it would be well worth it if she could hear his voice again. She hadn't completely figured out how to hear his voice again. Last Friday seemed like such a long time. It was just that once and she would do anything to hear it again. She had to figure out the hallucination. Danger or being irresponsible seemed like a good way to figure this out. This had to be one of the most irresponsible things she had ever done. She was excited!
Bella looked at Jake doubtful. "Easy?" Bella didn't want to take it easy she wanted to do something dangerous. Bella knew it wouldn't do herself any good to get hurt. Bella knew she would need to be easy on the first time. "For the first time." Bella agreed. Now the second or third it may be a different story. She needed to be reckless this was the entire point of having these motorcycles. She didn't want to play it safe or easy. She wanted it to be dangerous. She had to. She had to figure out the trigger being irresponsible may be the key.
Bella smiled. "Yes." She was more than ready to test this out. She would find out if all this work was worth it or not. Although she did enjoy spending time with Jacob it was certainly an added bonus. Jake made her happy when it didn't seem possible. He was her personal sun no matter what kind of mood she may be in she was always a bit more happy with him. Not completely happy, but enough to smile and laugh. She didn't dare think about why she couldn't be completely happy. She wouldn't focus on the pain or anything else. She would try not to get hurt and had listen to Jacob as he told her everything she needed to know. Bella eased on the clutch as the bike started to move forward.
This is reckless and childish and idiotic, Bella.
"Oh," Bella gasped as she heard his voice. She quickly released the clutch and the bike bucked under Bella. Bella fell to the ground with the bike half on top of her. Bella was dazed she had heard his voice.
I told you so.

img149.imageshack.us/img149/6598/leahwaynejohnwayne.png [/img] Her answers were short and clipped off as if she was a little freaked out herself. He ground his teeth together and closed his eyes as she began to roll forward. Thank God, she was actually doing pretty well, following all the instructions Jake had given her. Then she let go of the clutch, of the grenade. Down she went, half under the bike. "BELLA!" Jake shouted practically tearing up the earth under his feet to get to her quickly. He reached down and picked up the bike but when he saw that she seemed to be smiling he almost dropped it back down on top of her in surprise. "Bella are you okay?" He asked thinking she must of hit her head and was confused. Falling equals huge smile? What? He knelt down next to her and cupped the side of her face in his hand. "Bella? Do you want to stop for today?" He asked hoping that she'd say no but seeing the smile, knowing that wasn't the answer he'd receive. He tried to help her to her feet, his hands near her the entire time, in case she had hit her head and was dizzy standing up. He went over to the bike, her bike that he had thrown aside to make sure she was okay. He gave it a once over, checking to make sure all the parts were still working and undamaged. \"I don't know about this Bella." Jake finally spoke of his worried state aloud. "Your not exactly listening to the most important parts. Grenade? You just blew a hole in the ground." Jake yelped The girl bruised easily and the last thing Jake wanted was to lie to her dad, a cop. Plus he loved her, as more than just a friend, and he hated to see her hurt.
