It was a simi-boring day in the Black house. Rachael had been home only a day and a half, and she was beginning to remember why she left. Memories were everywhere. She felt almost trapped by them. She missed her apartment, and friends. She loved it here, but it was a depressing sort of love. One she didn't know if she could heal from. Her mothers death had been hard on her, and then the Rebecca thing. . .
Petals loved her sister, Butterfly, names their mother have given them after a bully had teased them on the play ground. When their mother died, they had clinged to them harder. No one at school called her Petals, and she missed the name but here, everywhere she looked reminded her of the life she wanted and couldn't have.
Rachael was sitting on the couch, writing a letter to her sister, trying to pass the time that moved slower here. [/blockquote] ((Icons not of my own making. Credit goes to 'Leah' of MP.)) [Jake Only For Now!]

He had felt the desire for Bella slowly build. He'd dreamed about her, although that was enough to seriously make him wonder how things could've happened the way they have. The fact that Bella chose Edward over him made him sick, and then watching the two marry, that was heart wrenching, it was enough to make him want to die. He missed his mother, as he never really got that well of a chance to know her...she died before he knew it.
It killed him growing up without both of his parents in his life, but that alone, was how it was. He couldn't change his past, or his history. Looking around La Push, it was clear that he was home, although he didn't feel like this place was home anymore. Death would be better than that. He missed his sisters, but he hadn't been home in about two weeks, because he had been busy with preparations for securing both La Push and Forks, to protect both towns from the carnivorus vampires, those, who unlike the Cullens, fed upon innocent humans.
He would have given his life if Bella had asked for it. He had desired more time with her, but the more time he spent around the vampirs, the more he was worried. He felt like he was losing his life, and most likely his mind. The vampires did not like him always called him a dog, which to be honest, was what he was, but he never really called them bloodsuckers, especially to their face. Bella would've been upset if he had, and she was the only reason he hadn't. Although he thought about it over and over in his mind every time he saw them.
Running into the house, he was more worried than ever about what may or may not happen. He didn't even know that Rachael was even at home, as he didn't really care who was at home and who wasn't. His speed was not over the average, just like he did in high school track which his father would've known for sure about that.

Rachael was sitting back and re-reading her letting when she heard someone come quickly. she jumped up and ran to the door to see who it was, knowing it wasn't her father. He couldn't make the noise in his chair. It still broke her heart to know that he was in a chair. He had been the type of Dad to play with her when she was younger.
Seeing who it was Rachael froze. Jacob?! He was so big! she had not seen him in years and now he looked older, she only guessed it was him because of the details of his face. Rachael didn't know what to say. She only stood their staring at him for a long moment. Jacob had changed so much. Embry had been right. "J-jacob?" She barely got out. "Yes, Petals?" He teased as he knew his big sister, granted it had been years since her and Butterfly had been home. He missed his big sister, but there was nothing he could do, years had pasased since the last time he'd been able to reach her. "Where is Butterfly, is she coming home too?" He asked, he knew he hadn't changed nearly as much as everyone said he did.
He knew his father may be upset that he'd been gone so much but the point of the matter was, he could not change how things were. He loved his siblings, but he too, felt the loss of their mother, even though he may not have known her as much as the other three most important people in his life had. He wanted a life outside of La Push, he wanted.....love. That was what he desired most, and yet, the girls around La Push chased him, it wasn't the kind of thing he was interested in. He was more interested in chasing girls not having them chase him. He couldn't understand why, it just happened to make him happy. "The only question is why you're home, since you haven't been back here since Mom died, neither you or Butterfly have come back....so you've got me a little curious. Does father know?" He asked, looking at his older sister.
