Well, damn it.
The thought crossed Maria's mind as she smiled at the evil child like creture not a 100 yards away. It was to close.
Maria was in Scotland, 'escaping' from the troubles brewing down south where she was from. Army troubles that would draw the Volturi there soon. Get everyone killed. So Maria had gotten as far from that as possible only to cross one of the vampires she was avoiding, here. While Maria did not know her personally, everyone had heard of her, and knew who Jane was. "Hello there." Maria said with a happy smile as if she didn't know who Jane was.

"Hello there." A woman with black hair that just happen to be a vampire and also just happen to be standing in Janes path said. The vampire had a big girn on her face. She was pretty vampire unlike others Jane had seen.But the questionn on janes lips was...
why is she talking to me?
"Hello and who is this i am talking to?" Jane asked being stubbon as usal. Jane Pulled her hair out of her face and crossed her arms across her chest. |

Maria however would do nothing to anger the child like monster. Everyone knew Jane had a trigger finger, per say with her powers. She loved to use them on just about anyone, and Maria didn't want to join the club of her victims. "I am called Maria. I am an old friend of Aro's." Maria explained, and abandoned the plan of not knowing who Jane was. The last thing she wanted was for Jane to 'show' her how the powers worked.
"I have not been to see him in ages however. I was thinking of going there soon. He has spoken very highly of you!" Mainly he had spoken of Jane as a threat to Maria.

Maria watched the girl and wondered why Jane was this far north. "You are far from your home, dearest, might I ask why?" Maria tried to stay polite while in here head was planning her escape from Jane. Still, if Aro touched Jane when Jane got back home, she wanted Aro to see her not in the middle of trouble. If there was trouble in Scotland, Maria was swimming out right away!

Darn the little brat! Had anyone else spoken to Maria like that she would have ordered them to be burned! Maria merely smiled at Jane, and have a light laugh. "I am just curious, to see if you are here on business, or pleasure." She told the small child like monster. "I my self, and here on a pleasure visit." She said with a tone that held double meaning.

Maria's mouth almost fell open. If she had been a younger less in control vampire her mouth would have fallen open and her jaw would have made a dent in the ground. Was Jane apologizing to her?! Jane the 'I like to use my powers on everyone' Jane?!
Maria made sure not to react to the apology. In any way. She didn't let her smile grow more, or her shock show. "Do not fear, dearest, I was no offended. I image you have to keep you guard up almost all the time, as a Volturi member." Maria paused for a moment before asking, "Why are you clearing your head? If you need someone to speak with, I can volunteer my self." Maria would love to know the Volturi family drama.

Maria was floored. The super evil Jane was not appearing evil right now. What this a trick? "Are you well, Jane?" maria asked carefully. "Has someone hurt you?" Maria wasn't the motherly type and only looked out for number one. However, she was curious as to what could make the mighty Jane, not so mighty.

Maria wondered what tricks Jane was playing, or if Jane meant every one of this. Could the girl that everyone thought was a monster not like her reputation? Or was Maria falling for some sort of deadly trap?
Not wanting to point out everyone thought Jane was a monster because of her love of abusing her power, Maria said, "Has someone offended you recently to make you worry over this more? I can not see someone daring to speak to use in such a way."

"No" Jane said going back to being stubbon. "Anyway why would you care" Jane added. Jane looked down at her feet and start drawing circles in the dirt.[No Probs  ]
