Leah walked into the dinner in La push and the bell gave a little ding. She was wearing jeans and a tank top, with boots on even though it was cold out today. Wolf thing, being to hot to stand a coat even if it was snowing. It wasn't snowing but it was raining hard. Leah sat down at a booth and opened a menu.
She didn't need it. She knew everything on it, but she was just wasting time, not wanting to go home, and not wanting to hang out with leeches. She glanced over it and was thing about what she was in the mood for when her nose picked up a scent.
Looking out the window she could see Embry about to walk in the door. Another wolf thing, scent.

Things had taken a more possitive turn for Embry, lately. He basically had a reason to live for -- not that he wanted to kill himself before hand. Charlotte was his whole world now, but he still remained loyal to the pack and his prior priorities. Charlotte didn't know about the whole shape-shifter secret just yet; he still had to do that, he would very soon. Today, Embry was going to meet his imprintee at the diner today. Of course, Emb wasn't an idiot, he wasn't going to tell her about what he really was there. Perhaps later on that night.
Even though it was a small diner, the 'no shirt, no shoes, no service' rule still applied, thus, Emb had to wear more clothes than he usually did, including shoes. He was not as cofortable as he used to be in clothes.
Em showed up at the diner earlier than he was supposed to, but not by much. Walking in he looked around for somewhere to sit and saw Leah. He figured he could go say hi, at least. "What's up, Leah?" He asked when he reached her.

"Just wasting time." Leah said not bothering to hide why she had been stalling from going home. Embry spent enough time in her head as he was part of the same pack she was, that he would know. There was no point in lieing. "Why are you all dressed up?" Wolves tended to dress with less, as they could stay warmer with out the clothes, and it was easier to just rip pants (and a shirt) off when you had to phase rather then strip everything off.
Leah was still turning the menu over in her hands, again and again, but not looking at it. She could stall a bit longer. No need to hurry anywhere.

Embry nodded, he knew what she was talking about thanks to spending too much time in her head. "Well, 'no shirt, no shoes, no service' is pretty clear about wearing a shirt and some shoes." He knew he couldn't get away with that simple of an answer, Leah would know here was more. Might as well say it now, Embry figured. "And... I'm meeting someone."
Embry didn't know if Leah was the best person to be talking about this with; she was touchy about imprintings and such, sometimes. And she disposed being a 'biological deadel end', as she called it. Emb actually felt pity for her. Leah could always adopted, he guessed, if she really wanted to be a mother so badly.

Leah sat the menu down slowly, look at Embery. It was a sarcastic sort of slow, and her grin said she had a few comments ready for him. "Am I interrupting a date?" She asked, with out bitterness. Leah didn't know how he was meeting, but she was assuming it was just a random girl from school or something. A light lunch with a silly air headed girl he was trying to romance. Had she known the truth, she might not be joking now. "What would she think of me sitting here with you? Would she run away, or attack me in a fit of jealous rage?" Leah teased him still.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - With a glance at her knee, Charlotte sighed. She usually wasn't a klutz, but she had fell down the stairs and scraped up her knee pretty badly. Which, of course, gave her a limp to her walk. She hated to have to limp, as it got very annoying especially when it wasn't anything major. She went ahead and put the amount of weight she was suppose to on it, despite how much it hurt.
Lottie sighed lightly, before walking into the diner. She could feel her cold necklace against her skin, hidden except for the chain on her neck. She walked into the diner, and spotted Embry almost immediately. With another girl. Why was she jealous? It's not like they were dating or anything, but she still felt jealously. Managing not to wince as she walked, she walked over to them. "Hi Embry."

Embry put his hands in his pockets and gave a shrugg as his eyes searched the doors and windows for any sign of Charlotte. "For once, you aren't interupting. But, yes, I'm technically on a date." He explained cooly and looked at Leah. He sat down at her table. "There will be plenty more... if you want to crash those, make sure you watch your back." He'd confront her about it. But sometimes Leah could be the most annoying person and you just wanted to take it out by a little fight... Sam would have their heads. He still kind of cared for her, but more of in a pack member way. Then he saw Charlotte. "We'll soon find out, won't we?" He replied to Leah without taking his eyes off Lottie.
Why was she limping? Embry instantly was concerned. "Char..." He started as he got up to see her. He placed a hand on her shoulder. "Are you alright? What happened?" He looked over her leg only to find her knee was scrapped. "Do you need anything? Bandage? Disinfectant?" He stopped there. He knew he was getting a little too obsessed. He just wanted what was best for her.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 'Char...' Lottie could hear the concern, and realized that he noticed her limping. She had thought she had hidden it so well! Well, apparently her hope was lost. She glanced down at her knee, and it was pretty badly scratched up. It didn't look that bad to her, she'd done worse. Not by much, but she'd definitely done worse.
'Are you alright? What happened? Do you need anything? Bandage? Disinfectant?' So many questions, and Charlotte sighed lightly. "I'm fine, I've done worse. No, it's fine. I just fell...down the...stairs..." His reaction would have been similar to her mothers. Her mother overworried, always been concerned for both her mental and physical health. She was used to the freaking out.

Embry nodded. "If you're sure, then." He took her hand. He went from chill to mother hen, imprinting sucked, sort of. But he cared a lot for Charlotte; he was in love with her. He turned back to Leah. "Um, Leah, this is Charlotte..." Emb introduced. "Char, this is my friend Leah." He didn't know if Lottie had felt jelous when she saw him there talking to Leah, but he knew he would have been if he saw her with an other guy he didn't know.
But that was imprinting. Embry hadn't been like this, entierly, before he found Charlotte, when he went out with other girls. It was different then than it was now.
((a little short, sorry))

Embry was here with a white girl? Leah watched him for a moment before putting on a fake smile (But not a scary one) and spoke up. "Sup Charlotte." Leah said with a nod of her head, not offering her hand. "Why don't you sit with us. I am crashing on your date." Leah joked, and invited her self in. She wasn't sure if Embry had meant for her to do that or not but it was done now. "So, how did you two cute-cies, meet?" She asked half trying to annoy Embry and answer a few of her own questions.

Embry sighed, Leah had obviously invited herself to their first date. This was going to be fun. NOT! Leah could ruin this whole thing! And Embry needed this to work out between him and Charlotte, it wasn't terrible how badly he needed this. To lose Char would probably distroy him. Emb took Lottie's hand, "I'm sorry, we're stuck with her." He didn't even bother to whisper this to her, either way Leah would hear him. He brought Charlotte to sit down, taking his own seat. He in face of no one, but between both girls. This was a little awkward.
Embry's leg started to shake a little; Leah was pushing her luck already. He gave her a warning glance from the coner of his eye.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - By the way that things were heading, it was obvious to Charlotte that this was most likely going to be a rather awkward meeting. She had had some strange first dates - though she wasn't quite sure if this was considered one. There were probably ones that could beat this one with strangeness, as she had been on one with a slightly nerd-ish kid who brought along a 'geek squad.' It had been an entertaining evening, yes, but also a rather awkward one.
Shaking the thoughts away, Char focused on her surroundings. She merely nodded to Embry's comment about Leah, being rather quite for once. She didn't rejecet him to holding her hand, though she noticed how pale it seemed to be compared to his. She also noticed that his hand temperature was warm, like it had been when she had first ran, quite literally, into him.
