---Rosalie ended one dance with Edward, and went to find her next partner. She paused on her way there when she saw Emmett and Alice dancing. Standing there for a moment, Rosalie smiled. Alice was so short and Emmett so wonderfully big that it was charming to watch. She loved her Emmett, and in times when she watched Bella play with Nessie, and her heart would break for what she would never have, Emmett would make her feel better. Most the time with out even trying. he would smile at her, or make a joke. Win a bet and kiss her because he was happy, and she would be happy with him. {Felix of The Volturi} |

Despite the fact that Felix came with Maria, that did not cease his wandering eye. There were far too many glamerous vampires here for him to not notice them . . . and there was one in particular that he had his eye on for quite some time. He knew she was part of the Cullen crew, for she had come with them and had come with someone who he assumed was her mate. No matter. Felix was not intimidated or afraid of him . . . in fact, he was the same size as Felix, if not smaller. Felix wandered over to where the blond beauty was standing, and stood next to her.
Before speaking, he eyed her carefully, as a smile broke out on his lips. "Now what is a beautiful creature like you doing, standing here alone, and not dancing with the others or in the company of a man?"

---Rosalie turned to look at the the vampire who spoke. she had heard him approach but had not thought he would speak to her. Rosalie knew of Felix, and had 'meet' him twice. Once when he came right AFTER the newborns attached (Good for nothing Volturi) and the other when he came to destroy her and her family (Good for NOTHING Volturi).
---Rosalie however smiled, "Waiting to be asked to dance by a gentleman. You wouldn't happen to have seen one about would you?" She wasn't all that keen on dancing with the enemy (like Jasper was with Maria) however she had planned on dancing with everyone tonight.

Felix chuckled, not appearing offended by her clear insult. He would find a way to get her to dance with him. "Why I happen to be a gentleman, one who is asking you to dance with him," he said, offering his hand. He would not define himself as a gentleman per say. He just wanted to dance with her . . . maybe it would cause some trouble. Speaking of causing trouble . . . . "Unless of course that would cause problems between you and your mate," he added, looking around for the man he saw her come with. Would he pick a fight with him? They were relatively the same size but they were on the Volturi's turf -- for lack of a better word -- . Even Felix did not want to fight tonight though, he would be content to just see the glare that her mate would give him if he saw them dancing.

---Rosalie watched him, "The only trouble this is going to cause," She said putting her hand in his, slightly enjoying his almost begging (to her mind he was begging), "Is for you, when my husband reacts to any thing you do that proves your NOT the gentlemen your calming to be." Rosalie wasn't the type to let him do anything and run to Emmett. No, she was gasp and rip into him and Emmett would come running to help.
