Finally, it was game time! Emmett stayed where he was and was now across the field from Edward. He didn't know who exactly was pitching first, so he just stood in his ready position. While he was waiting for someone to come up to bat he wondered what would be the funnest way to rub his teams victory in Jasper's face. They only had to win by at least ten points. Easy. Emmett let out a low chuckle so that he didn't explode with excitement.

------ ---"Thank you." Rosalie said to Carlisle as she got ready to bat. She heard Edward promising to get her out, on her first ball and she stuck her tongue out at him and mentally thought about trying to hit it as far from Edward as she could. She wasn't here to lose.
---"Ready when you are Alice." Rose swung the bat once in practice and then gripped it tight, ready to bat and run.

Jasper watched quietly as everyone got in to their positions. He was mentally preparing for this game. He watched Alice step to the pitcher's mound. And Edward get in to position. And then Rosalie step up to bat. This was going to be an interesting game indeed . . . as were they all, but whenever Jasper had a bet going, it was extra interesting . . . which again, were the case in most of their games. He spun the bat in his hand, tossing it and catching it from either the top of the bat or the bottom. It was his way of warming up: practically juggling the bat in his hand.
"Come on Rosalie. You can do it. Home run," he encouraged in a low voice, though loud enough for her to hear.

Smiling, Alice nodded and said, "Batter up!" in a comical fashion. Grinning widely, she pulled her body back for the pitch. Then she threw that ball with al the accuracy she could muster. It hurtled straight towards Esme's hand, and Alice watched. Shes tood on her toes, waiting for the crack of the bat against the ball. Knowing Rosalie, the ball would most likely end up somewhere in the outfield. Still, Alice stood 'ready', expecting the ball at any moment.

------ ---Rosalie swung the bat and heard it hit the ball. She didn't stop to look were it went, but with her good vision she could see it head high over the middle of the field. Closer to (She noticed, very pleased) to Emmett then Edward, but far enough away they might not get to it.
---She to first, then 2nd base before pausing to see where the ball was, and to see if it was safe to try for third and then home.
