------ ---It was said, that Aro, leader of the Volturi, liked beautiful things. It was the reason, Rosalie had offered to hand deliver Carlisle's letter to his old friend. She was beautiful, and loved to make a statement with her looks.
---Rosalie was being shown by a human, to the back rooms, of the building. It was old but grand. Rosalie had never meet Aro, but had heard of him. Carlisle had told her stories. So when Emmett and Rosalie took a honeymoon and went to the city, she needed a reason to stop and see the legions.
---Carlisle's letter did that. She entered the large room, and walked in, head up high and dressed in a long silken gown. One that make her skin look paler of that was even possible. Rosalie did not speak first, ready to let him make the first move.

Aro sat in his chair, there really wasn't to much to do. There hadn't been any vampires gone crazy in the past few months. Aro saw one of the lesser guards bow before him, he raised his hands to monition for her to say what was needed. "Rosalie Hale, sir has come for a visit. She has a letter from Carlisle Cullen," the girl said the all the while looking down at her feet.
A bright smile appeared on Aro's face, "Excellent, bring her in!" Aro spoke swiftly. It had been such a long time since he had heard from his friend Carlisle.
Aro saw the beautiful young girl enter the room her skin looked pale with her gown. Aro gracefully rose from his seat and was standing before Rosalie, "Greetings my friend!"

((VERY cool Font there! Love the added effect!))
------ ---Aro was not what Rosalie was expecting. Even with Carlisle's stories. "Greetings to you as well." Rosalie said and bowed her head slightly, more because it made the light reflect off her hair then true respect to him. "I am Rosalie Lillian Hale, and I bring a letter from my father, Carlisle Cullen, for you." She explained, "He has told me many stories about you and this place."
---Rosalie used to think about living here, but more from the grandness then any other reason. Royalty would suit her, the work involved in keeping it did not. She hoped she would get to stay and speak with them, perhaps look around.

[[Thanks!]]
Aro took several steps toward Rosalie to where he was just a few inches away from her. "It's been such a long time since I've heard from Carlise!" Aro remembered the time his friend Carlisle had spent with him it was really an interesting experience. It was entertaining really he trying persuade him, and vice versa they had different taste Carlisle animal blood, and Aro the norm human blood. It was a very interesting experience and he had hoped to hear from his friend sooner than he had. "It's to bad Carlisle himself could not have deliver the letter, it would have been splendid to speak with him again!"
It appeared Carlisle had created his own kind, he had been toying with the idea during the time he was here. Although he would have never taken another's life unless they were most likely dying. He wonder what about this girl what lead her to the life of a vampire it would be easy to find out, and she simply could not refuse. "Rosalie," Aro spoke looking at the girl just a few inches away. "It's wonderful that you've come here, how long are you planning on staying here?" Aro asked curious.

------ ---"Carlisle is working at a hospitable in the states," Rosalie explained, "He feels he is doing more good there." The she answered his other question, "I am on a honeymoon with my husband, Emmett. We would like to grace your city a while long. We will, of course, not hunt here."
---Not that is mattered, none of the Cullens hunted humans. Sometimes, a few of them would slip up, however, but they hunted before entering the city. Just to be safe.

"Still trying to save human life?" Aro asked still amused by Carlisle even after the years he had spent with him. "And we would love to have you in our city a little longer," Aro replied.
"How many is your coven?" Aro asked simply curious to how many had joined Carlisle since the last time he had seen him.

------ ---"Yes he is." Rosalie said thinking of her father. "He loves helping." She was proud of him. "I would love to visit your city longer. I have heard many stories, of your city and home here." Rosalie looked around the room and enjoyed the view.
---"There is five in my family." She said, not calling it a coven. Coven sounded to dark and creepy. Family sounded warm and wonderful. Rosalie wanted a family, and wanted it more then anything. She wanted it more the Emmett at times.

"All created by Carlisle?" Aro questioned further. He was curious if Carlisle had created them all. They were probably all on the verge of death, Carlisle never wanted to take a life that's why he went into the medical field to try and save them he brought him joy. Aro didn't really understand, he tried, but didn't see the point in trying to prolong the life of a human.

------ ---Rosalie's brows bent together slightly, as Aro asked the question. She thought over her answer before speaking. "Yes, but one not by choice." Rosalie said, speaking of Emmett who, Rosalie had begged Carlisle to turn. "Why do you ask?" She did want to protect her father more then enjoy the grandness of this city. She hoped she could do both.

"Simply curious my dear," Aro replied. "During the time Carlisle spent with me he never wanted to take a humans life. We got into some interesting conversations," Aro smiled at the memories of his dear friend. "Ah, such good times we had! Now tell me my dear is there anything in particular you would like know?" Aro asked she had mentioned she had hears stories was there something she wanted to know in particular?

------ ---Rosalie's body relaxed as he said he was simply curious. She had not known why he was asking, or if her family should have hid their numbers. "With Edward, Esme and I, we were dying. He did it to save us." With Emmett, Carlisle had did it for Rosalie. "So he was not taking human life. It was already gone." Which was a bitter topic for Rosalie.
---She wanted her human life back. "Would you give me a tour of this place? Tell me some stories of your own?" Rosalie was not here to hear stories, but to see the rich world they lived in.

"That sounds like Carlisle," Aro commented after hearing how Carlisle had changed those in his coven or family as Rosalie had used.
"A tour?" Aro replied. "Why of course my dear. And some stories as well, this should be entertaining. I don't believe I've given a tour in ages it seems!" Aro was delighted to give a tour of there large home. So many stories, so many rooms to view. It would take quiet some time to complete it.

------ ---Rosalie was very pleased with this. She had a bright smile on her beautiful face. Not only was she getting a tour of this place, she was getting it from Aro himself. Rosalie liked to think, with his last words, that he was doing this (Something he had not done for anyone else in a while) for her. "I can not wait. Just let me know when you have time, and I will come back." However she was hoping he would do it now.

[[Hmm...I need some stories. Maybe I could just imply he's telling some stories and not really have to tell any. Unless you can help me think of some.]]
Aro smiled in return seeing Rosalie smiling at him. "Well my dear, I don't have much to do at the moment." There were probably a few things, but he had all of eternity to do them. Taking a quick tour and telling Rosalie a few stories of their time wouldn't take to much time. "If you are ready now, we can begin. But if you would rather return to your husband for some time, I would understand," Aro added remembering she was on her honeymoon.

------ ---"Now is wonderful." Rosalie said pleased. "Emmett knows were I am, if he needs me." Rosalie knew Emmett wasn't as impressed with glamor as she was. He liked more rustic things. It was almost odd how much they loved each other being how different they were. Rosalie liked to call that fate. If was damned in this life, she had Emmett to make it bearable. "And it's not our first honeymoon."

[[Sorry it took so long, I've had not time to get on b/c of work. Anyways I used the idea from Carlilse's office in Twilight its possible he could have gotten the idea from here. And hope the first story isn't to bad.]]
Aro smiled at Rosalie, "Well then we shall get started!" Aro moved gracefully toward the double doors. And as always he had a few of his guard follow close behind him. Aro made his way down a long hallway and reached another large room far grander than the one they were previously in. Inside hung huge paintings showing detailed images of their history.
It was a time line of history from the most basic of human life to the modern world. Three thousand years of history was on these walls. Aro came to stand in front of one painting it had three dark figures over looking a grand city. "This one tells the story of our victory here, how we gained our power," Aro remarked lost in the memory of long ago. "The Romanians were troublesome about two thousand years ago, but they were quickly taken care of. We had just started off Marcu, Caius, and myself. We had just gotten the hang of our life and had started our guard it was very small at the time. But we had searched for the most powerful vampires, and we were no match for those Romanians. It was easy, a bit to easy, but well worth it. We made our home here," Aro stretched his hand pointing to another painting that held the city of Volterra.
"It wasn't long when the legends of vampires were real that we had to do something. We had to make the humans unsuspious of us. That's were my dear Marucs came into play he came up with things such as garlic, holy water, crosses, all of those items that the humans think will defeat us. It's quiet laughable really." Aro suppressed a laugh at the memory of how easily the humans believed them.

------ ---Rosalie did not hid her laughter. She gave a short musical laugh at the story. "How silly of them to believe in that." She said, "It is amazing how simple minded humans are. They believe almost anything you tell them." Rosalie was looking at the painted when she asked, "What ever happened to the other coven. Are they all dead now?" Rosalie was not very curious, just simply wondering if they were a threat.

[[I'm not sure what came first the Southern Wars or the Immortal Children, I'm going to do the Southern Wars first and my next post probably the Immortal Children, if you have any suggestions just let me know!]]
"No my dear," Aro replied still laughter in his voice from how easily the humans did believe them. "The Romanian Coven consist of Stefan and Vladimir. They both hate us deeply and want revenge for taking what was their's, but they are no threat. There is no way they could every take us on we are far to powerful for that." Aro replied just thinking about those two. Such a small coven they don't even have a guard they would certainly be no match for them.
Aro moved to down the hall their were several other paintings until he came across a large painting. That held the western United States, "Ah, this was another problem with our vampire world." Aro sighed at the thought of what the Southern Wars had done, and the massive clean up afterwords. "Benito came up with the idea of the newborn armies, a huge disaster. We were lucky it remained in the Southwest of the United States. It was a terrible mess, vampires would create armies of newborns. Completely uncontrollable, wild, they had no reason but to destroy the other newborns. Even after reading their thoughts I don't see why they would do such a thing. Most of the time the newborn vampires would kill each other, in their own army. It must have been difficult to control them. But we finally stepped in and stopped."
Aro sighed it was a rather tiring event. "We killed anyone associated with the newborn vampires. This is certainly an event that did not do so well with our history. But it was put to a stop." Aro paused and turned to look at Rosalie there was so much in their history he was just giving her the highlights the greater events in their world. Although there was one far greater than the Southern Wars, the Immortal Children he had even tried to tame one with no success. Carlilse was with him during that time as well.
