And there it was. She had used words like 'shape shifter' and 'vampire' and this finally confirmed that she knew all about the creatures that existed in the world, and the truth about Embry. This did not make Paul feel more at ease with her, or make her more comfortable with her in any way. "You got a big mouth snowflake. You go around tellin' everyone that story?" He said, his expression fixated in a bit of a glare, aimed directly at her. He did not trust outsiders, and did not like how vocal she was about the shape shifter and vampire situation.
"You better learn to keep stuff to yourself, otherwise, I'll have to tell Embry to keep his woman on a leash. Guess that dog isn't the only one who needs taming." Paul was not going to phase; he had better control of his anger right now. Of course, that didn't stop him from mouthing off to people or doing things for the sole purpose of irritating someone else. He had not quite hit that level of maturity yet.

Charlotte sighed, running her hand through her hair out of agitation. "God, do you think if I did that I wouldn't be in a straight jacket right now? I recognized your tattoo. Just because I'm blond doesn't mean I don't have a hint of common sense left in me." She rolled her brown eyes at him as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. Not all blonds were stupid, but with idiotic people like Paris Hilton and Hillary Clinton (who, she personally hated) in the world that we're blond she would consider blonds dumb if she were not one herself.
"Yes, because putting people on leash's these day is totally calm and no one thinks anything of it. Pocahontas, we women aren't pets these days, you should have realized that by now." Once again, Charlotte rolled her make up free eyes at him. She now let her hair just fall in front of one eye, she could see just fine out of the other. She wondered if he would just move alng and run home to his own women (she assumed that he had one, though she wasn't certain).

"I don't like outsiders going around telling people they don't even know about stuff that they don't know anything about. Don't act smart blondie. I could have been anyone. Keep your mouth closed next time, and only talk about it with your boy toy." Paul didn't like her attitude . . . he didn't like many peoples attitudes and it that was more common than for him to actually like someone. "Naah, not all women need leashes, just ones who blab too much, like you. Then again, maybe duct tape would be more effective," Paul added, while chuckling at the idea.

"Hey! I'm smart, I just don't act smart outside of college." Charlotte defended herself. She had gone to a good school district and that type of crap, so she considered herself pretty smart. "Boy toy? Seriously? What is this, the 1980s or something?" That term was just so...old. It was like, older than she was. "And if where coming up with new nicknames, shall I call you Sacajawea?" She asked, quirking up an eyebrow at him like she used to do all the time when she was a younger teenager.
Hearing his comment made both of Charlotte's eyebrows come up, and the hint of a smirk showed across her face. "Putting duct tape within a foot of me is one of the stupidest things you could do, be warned." It was rather insane what the blonde could do with duct tape. She had gone crazy with boredom one summer, found a roll of duct tape, and learned that she basically had a natural skill at doing things with duct tape. So it wasn't smart to give her duct tape, as she wasn't loosing her skills as she grew older.

Paul just looked at her, smirking. "Tad bit defensive aren't we. Guess you're used to insults . . . makes sense. But guess what marshmallow, if you're gonna be here, you're gonna have to get more and more used to them." Paul was probably not going to stop . . . and because she was the only one here, her sole presence was what encouraged him. At least if there were other people around, he could have distracted himself. Then again, who said it wasn't fun for him to tease and make fun of people. The additional fun that came out of this was to see how Embry would react to Paul making fun of his girl. He knew that if anyone said anything about or to Rachael, Paul would kill them. What would Embry do? That was what Paul was waiting to see.
"Whatever the hell that word means. Call me what you want, but here, you diss me and where I'm from, you diss everyone in La Push." Considering she was the only white person, well, Paul was going to make that obvious. He was not considerate enough to not make a big deal about it. Her next threat made him laugh. "You warning me?" He said, in between chuckles. "That is what you call an empty threat. Never warn me about nothing . . . I don't react well to them," he said grinning, as if he was proud of his short temper. "Your no match for me snowball, don't even try to act it."

"Pretty much, but that's what you get when you have to deal with half-siblings all the time. I'm already used to them, though, so I guess I'm fine, aren't I?" Charlotte said simply, shrugging as if she hadn't even noticed him comment. She only really got defensive when people called her stupid. It was annoying, especially when a lot of the time people were being hypocrital. She just didn't use common sense a lot aws her only issue, she seemed to lack of it when she did happen to need it.
"I'm surprised you haven't realized that the only insults coming out of them is calling you a girl. Try reading a history text book and maybe you'd understand what I meant." Char said, chuckling softly to herself. Pocahontas and Sacajawea were like, honorable! They weren't insults to be called that unless you were a guy because she was calling you a girl. Seriously. "Trust me, if you knew anything about putting me near duct tape, you wouldn't call it any empty threat. It's like...I don't know, but it's just not a good idea overall." She said, not able to think of a really good example to put it with. Which really gave him no information, but oh well. She'd figure one out later.

Paul's volatile personality was something that he had become infamous for. No one knew what said him off . . . not even himself. There was just a switch inside of him that went off, even if someone made the slightest comment that a normal person could just laugh at and shrug off. But no, not Paul Moran. He grew angry, and that had always been the case with him. But now, anger exceeded just starting a fist fight. It became something far more dangerous and detrimental to the person who caused him enough anger to reach his limit and snap (which really didn't take much).
The switch had went off.
Paul felt his body begin to shake as a menacing expression of anger and rage broke out. He felt each muscle changing, he felt what was only a two second process, broken down into stages. He could hear the ripping of his pants as he began to hunch over and before long, he was on all fours, his size and figure changing dramatically. He was now a full wolf; he was now completely out of control, unable to maintain his anger; he was now growling at Charlotte, getting ready to rip her to shreds. He lost all senses, all rationality . . . and that on its own, was dangerous enough for anyone.

Note to self; never wear good shoes in La Push again.
Why? Because La Push is filled with morons. Or worse, Moran's.
Leah had been walking home, (walking because she did not have a car at the moment and she was not putting these leather thigh high boots in a drooling wolf mouth) . . . . (Something just did NOT come out of leather!). Along her walk home she noticed Paul and Embry's imprintee in the beach. That alone made the hair on her neck prickle as from what she gather from Embry's mind was that the cotton ball he had imprinted on was not the type you left alone with idiots that could well kill her.
It wasn't enough to make her hurry, however. Let the girl get bitched out my the Moran moron and maybe she would learn to---OH FUCK!
Leah took off full speed to the beach as she saw Paul shake, blur then explode into a wolf five times his already large self! She ran as fast as she could and knew that this could well turn into a fight and her shoes were already a close cause. Even so when her feet hit the salty beach water she wanted to hit someone. (Good thing Paul was already for a fight!).
When Leah got close enough to them she gritted her teeth and grabbed the blond girl by her shirt and pulled her down, and passed her. "It's time to know your role, girl and shut your mouth!" Leah snapped as she pulled the girl down into the water, knowing that -IF- Paul still went after her, the cold water might clear his head some.
Then Leah moved away from the blond idiot and closer to the sliver idiot. Always making sure that she was between the fragil human that could be killed with no effort on Paul's part, and the large wolf who looked ready to play little red ridding hood and eat some white girl. "Paul! I am shocked your ALLOWED to be walking around La Push off a leash! One would think after your last attack on a human Sam would have made sure you were watched!" Leah snapped out, trying to draw Paul's attention away from the human.
Not only his attention, but his anger. Leah could handle this fight, she had the strength, speed, and could heal fast, the human had nothing, she would only be killed. "Guess neither of you learn."

Whatever common sense Charlotte had ever had seem to come back at the moment he started to shake. She backed up, nearly stumbling over her own two feet. This, she had not expected to happen. She wasn't exactly aware that that would have set him off, and if she had been she would have just shut the hell up then and there and probably walked away as well. Apparently she wasn't as smart as she thought, but this was certainly proving her lack of common sense. Not that she needed anymore reason to prove her lack of it.
But it seemed to want to prove itself again, as Charlotte couldn't find herself to move once he actually was a werewolf. Her face seemed to just be fixed, her eyes wide and her mouth slightly agape. Yes, today was definitely one of her more blonde days. Not that she could honestly blame that, because she'd acted like this even before she stopped dying her hair. Except she hadn't known about the whole werewolf vampire ordeal, so she'd had a lot less to fear than she actually knew about. But even when she had a lot to fear, she still just had to act like that.
Though, Charlotte was actually glad when a girl that she vaguely recognized passed her after shoving her down. It seemed to bring her back into reality. The water was freezing, yes, but at the moment she couldn't care less. Normally, she would have made some comment about it, but at the moment it seemed like the stupidest thing to do so, she remained silent. She was just glad she didn't have her phone in her pocket or anything, as it probably would have been destroyed. The girl's words nearly made her pipe up, but she hoped she was just saying it to trie to scare her off.

Leah. DAMN LEAH always got in his friggin' way. He was ready to kill her, but knowing that was an impossibility he would have to settle for fighting someone his own . . . sort of his own . . . size. And yet, the blondie was still here and Paul could not distract himself enough from her. He enjoyed seeing her fear. He enjoyed scaring her because she had mouthed off so much to him before. If he could say one thing to her, he would be saying Not so tough now, eh marshmellow?!. But he couldn't, and so wait until he phased back to his human form . . . if he didn't kill her before then.
He growled, taking a step towards her, trying to divert his thoughts from imagining how good it would feel to tear her apart. There was no other wolf on patrol . . . well, no one from his pack. It was a shame Embry wasn't here. He would have enjoyed a fight with him better than one with Leah. He would have to settle for the girl wolf. Paul had a lot to say and was growing frustrated with the fact that there was no one to listen. So he shot Leah a glare. It was a 'get-the-hell-out-of-my-way' glare, and he expected her to listen, but his gut told him she wouldn't.
And then, without thinking . . . charged towards Charlotte, growling viciously in the process.

Leah knew her shoes were already a lost cause from the salt water but even still, it pissed her off that Paul could not learn to just walk the heck away. And that anger was just what she needed right now, as Paul started to go for the Embry's girl, Leah's body shook with rage until it blurred and twisted. . . .
The grey wolf that came from the blurred shape was smaller then the Paul wolf but faster. Leah drove as fast as she could move and attacked Paul from the side, going for the neck and trying to drag him down (or at lest slow him down) from there. She hoped the human girl would understand and run away screaming until Sam or someone heard her and could come get Paul under control! If they didn't get here in time then Sucks for Paul cause Leah was pissed enough that she planned to rip him a new whole to breath from.
Part of it had to be, seeing Char from Embry's eyes. Knowing his need to protect her, and seeing his love for Char. Part of it was Leah really loved them shoes. The other part, was simple anger at Paul for being the biggest moron ever. He never learned, and never changed. This was not the first human he would have tried to kill, and Leah knew one day he could go to far. Cross that line. Then he would be no better then what he hunted. Idiot.

Visiting with his sister was always enjoyable for Jacob, her swollen belly made him smile. It had been so long since he had seen a natural pregnancy, at least someone pregnant he cared about. Though when her skin between her eyes had creased in worry, Jake grew curious. Paul should have already have been there. Where did that idiot get to now? He just sighed and smiled at her, with a quick promise to go look for him. He darted outside and quickly stripped, it would just be faster to look in his wolf form. He quickly tied his pants to his ankle and shifted forms. It was then he heard it. Leah's thoughts caught Jacob's attention. Damn wolf was more of an idiot than he thought. He was going to kill him. I'll be there in a second Leah! Keep him busy! Jake was beyond angry. He had never run so fast in his life.
The minute the beach came into view he began looking, it was there he saw Embry's imprintee in the water and Leah and Paul facing off. In BROAD view. As Jacob darted toward the pair, a growl escaped his lips. Jake jumped over Paul, and skidded to a stop right next to Leah. His ears were pinned back and his teeth were bared. Maybe he should throw Paul around a bit? Jake tried calling for Sam in his mind at the same moment the thought crossed his mind. Hopefully the other Alpha would hear, because this particular idiot couldn't hear him.

Charlotte wasn't a complete idiot, and she had enough brains to scott back quickly when the wolf lunged for. Not farther back into the ocean, thankfully, as it was already practically to her shoulders thanks to her being a midget. The rocks were annoying as heck, scraping against her, but not hard enough to cause her to bleed (or so she hoped). Her ankles were stinging slightly, but she knew that slight amount of pain was a lot less pain then the death he could have caused her. She'd seen how freakishly strong the wolves in her own two eyes. And that was pretty damn strong.
The smartest thing to do probably would have been to sprint off running - though she had learned when panicing and running, she wasn't the fastest girl out there. Charlotte remained tense, not even shivering for some reason despite the cold prickle of the salty water. She was probably too terrified to even think about it. Her now wet (yet still blonde thanks to dye) hair stuck to her face, practically the only thing that reminded her she was sitting in the water. She did not dare get out, though. She had pretty high hopes that wolves weren't swimmers. She wasn't much of one, but if she tried she could be pretty fast.
Another one? That was rather shocking to Charlotte, but it did make her slid farther away from what was most likely a fight. She couldn't take her eyes off the kerfuffle, no matter how much she really wanted to. They just stayed wide, fixated on the scene before her that she had caused without meaning to. She was known for a lot of things, one being her gossiping mouth, but angering people had never really been one. But it looked like it was going to be something she would be known for up in the North at this point.

Paul kicked Leah off of him with his hind legs. He then regained his balance, and stared at her, growling, feeling the rage continue to build inside of him. Embry's stupid imprint started this entire thing. This wasn't Leah's fight . . . he wanted her to get the hell out of here so he could rip apart the little blond who was cowering on the side. Paul knew that Leah was more of a match for him than a defenseless little girl, but he was irrational and impulsive and was not ready to calm down. Not even when Jake showed up. In fact, that just angered Paul even more. He hated this whole pack he created on his own . . . this was his fault. The division had created tension and had they not split into two packs, then Paul would never had tried to attack Embry's imprint. Well, that was the logic Paul was going on.
His growl became more menacing. He knew talking would be pointless, and so his eyes narrowed at Jake. Apparently, there was some small semblance of common sense left in him, because Rachael entered his mind. If he hurt Jake, he would hurt Rachael. He didn't want to do that. Even during Paul's most irrational state, Rachael never escaped his mind. So Paul ignored the fact that he was outnumbered. In fact, he ignored Jacob's presence completely, shifting his gaze back to Leah. If the idiot alpha knew what was good for him, he'd run along. Paul then charged after Leah, sinking his teeth as hard as he could into her side.

The small grey wolf gave a sharp yelp of pain as the bigger and considerably dumber wolf who was the color of a box of rocks (and and the brain power of half that). She was stuck for a moment, before she was able to jerk her self away. All the other wolves were stronger then her; her one advantage was speed. Because she was smaller, she could move with less bulk. She knew in a fight, as long as she kept moving, she could take on one of the other wolves, however her side felt like it was on fire from the pain. . . . It would heal quickly, but Leah's anger, wouldn't.
The only thing that kept her from mentally planning to go after Paul's mate was that Rachael was Jake's sister. Leah had just jerked away when she spun around and sank her teeth into Paul's leg. Honestly, at this point she hoped she broke it, if not she hoped she could at lest rip some of that muscle on. Maybe if he was enough pain he'd stop the fight. If not; Leah was ready to KILL him! It was off to think they had once been friends; but no more and never again. There wasn't enough space on the beach for them both. He was going down; or she was.

That stupid moronic idiot actually ignored me.
Being appalled did not even begin to express Jake's feelings at the moment. He glanced back to check on Embry's imprintee, and turned back in time to see Paul lunging for her, but he was to late to intercept, it was than he saw Leah do just that. And it was then Jake felt his vision cloud with red. He could feel Leah's pain shake through his mind, and his anger hit a high note. Something inside of Jacob Black snapped, and he felt his Alpha rise inside of him, baring it's teeth.
He jumped Paul.
It took even Jacob a couple seconds to realize he had his teeth wrapped around Paul's throat, but even then he didn't lessen his grip. He gripped tighter, it was almost unfortunate that he remembered his sister, and he stopped himself from biting and killing Paul. Who did this moron think he was?
Collecting himself, he kept a tight grip on Sam's beta and called out to the other Alpha again. His thoughts went to Leah, making sure she was OK, he had never felt so protective over anyone except Nessie, but she meant a great deal to Jake and to Renesmee, he would be damned if he let anyone harm her. He felt with his mind more than actually saw that Leah had bit into the wolf's leg, more reasoning came to Jacob with her retaliation.
It was then Jake wished he could get into Paul's thoughts. He could not lay down the Alpha law to someone who was not apart of his pack. So... if his Alpha did not show, he would settle with tearing this particular wolf to shreds, well at least he would hurt him. Just not too bad... Rach might get a little mad, but still.
No one touched Jacob's pack.

Today was just a nice day out. One of thouse really rare days in La Push. Everything was drying from the hot sun, and there was no rain in the forecast. Sam had been out for a run around La Push, something he did by habit more then anything. He would be in his human form for now. There was no threat no nothing. So why the heck not run in his human form? Though he could not run quite as fast, it was just as good as running as a wolf. He just ran, ran as he had nothing better to do. Emily was working on her baking, and Sam was just getting in the way, so she kicked him out of the house for a little bit so she could get it all done. She had to have to ready to go by tonight, and she was pretty much behind, again Sam's fault. Sam often bothered Emily while she baked, so Emily pretty much had to kick him out when she had to get something done. But then something..someone... Fighting....But this was no human fight... Wolves? Wolves were fighting... now?! Here... Sam was confused as he broke into a sprint, right on the side of the beach, around the corner and right there on the middle of the beach with a HUMAN standing RIGHT THERE, Leah Paul and Jacob stood. Leah was hurt, he could see the blood, Jacob and Paul in a fight, and this was a real fight, not the crap they used to do when they were all one pack, no a fight fight.
Sam began to shake but he would not phase, but he had to! Everything he was told to do, he was about to go against. So he ran shaking towards the two."PAUL!" Sam commanded his Alpha voice, booming off the rocks making him all the louder, all the more pissed off. "You will STAND DOWN!" Sam said before his anger got the best of him. He wanted to phase and rip both of their heads off, but he knew better then to phase like that. So he just walked to Leah, His alpha order would sink into Paul, and Paul would not attack, he could defend himself but he could not attack, or well that's what Sam meant when he said stand down, Paul would surly know what he meant, it was that darn wolf thing again. "Jacob" Sam commanded once more. Yes he knew he was no longer Jacob's or Leah's Alpha, but Sam just had a presence to him, a you will listen kind of air to him. It would make any grown man buckle. But of course Jacob did not have to listen. "Phase back and tell me what happened!" Sam pretty much demanded his alpha voice still booming around the beach. This was not good. He could not, COULD NOT have the wolves out like this. "you there!...." He said pointing to Charlotte, he could not remember her name at the moment, for he did not care too much. "Go fetch me a first aid kit!" He order her. He would need it for Leah. She was hurt and he could see that.
He then made his way to Leah, who was hurt on the beach. He'd have to clean all this blood up after Leah was taken care off. but that would come after. Sam had nothing on him but his short and tee shirt, He'd have to use his shirt to help stop the bleeding. She looked bad. Yeah it would heal, but the more blood she lost the longer it would take for Leah to make a full recovery. "Leah?" He asked, as he got down to his knees, to check her wounds. He did not touch her just yet. He wanted to make sure it was okay to touch her, that she was okay with getting his help. She wanted to make sure that she'd let him help before he'd do anything. Last thing he wanted was to hurt Leah even more then he had in the past. She needed help. "Leah can you phase back?" Sam asked, it would be better for Leah if she were in human form. Sam could care for this wound it would be easy, but if Leah told him no, if Leah told him to back off, he would leave her. Yeah it would kill Sam to leave her bleeding, but he was not her Alpha, he was nothing to her anymore, so there was nothing he could do if she said no. Sam let out a sigh pretty much hovering over Leah waiting for a yes or a no, so he could help. Sam even ripping off his shirt, ready to apply pressure, ready to help her any way he could. He knew Leah would heal, but way deep inside, he knew he'd hate himself if he let Leah die. Not that she would die, not from this but still. He loved Leah....
Loved her yes, but The way he Loved Emily was out of this world. He loved Leah in a simple human way, he loved Emily in a Wolf way, in a way that was so finial, so absolute he could never turn his back. A human's feelings could change, a human could walk away and never look back. A wolf, was in it for life, no matter what. The feelings were so strong nothing, nothing mattered. He loved Leah like a child loved a blanket, the blanket may be tossed into a box and stored away for year's, but still the feelings for the blanket never changed. Even 30 years later when he no longer needed the blanket, when he now had a house to keep him warm, the blanket that kept him safe and warm for so long would still hold a place in his heart no matter how small, it was still a part of him. Even on the coldest nights a blanket could not keep him from freezing a little. Though at the time it did not feel like he was freezing he was. Leah still made him who he was today. Leah would always be the blanket that kept him warm in the harsh winter months, but Emily, Emily would always be the house that gave him so much more. Emily kept it so he would never feel the harsh winds, or the cool chills in the morning. Emily would keep him cool in the hottest day, Leah was nothing but shade from the heat. The heat was still there, Leah just took some of the heat away. Emily too everything away, Emily took all the heat from the air, Emily was everything he would need.
Emily would give him a stove to cook food, a bed to sleep in, heat for the winter and cool for the summer. Emily would be his entertainment, his life, the place he would go for everything, his home. But Leah, Leah was his blanket, Leah was once his everything when he had nothing, until he stumbled upon the beautiful home. He had to leave the blanket, for he had no 'use' for it anymore. The home would be his everything now. He did not know there was anything better out there, not until he found his house, his Emily. He could try and bring his blanket into the house, but all he would do was fold up the blanket and put the blanket in a closet to never be touched again. But why would he want to keep the blanket to himself when he could give the blanket to someone who needed it, someone who could turn the blanket into a home of his own? Why should Sam hold onto something, he no longer needed? No he would set the blanket free, free to find another one to protect, to keep warm, to love. Leah could be someone's home, but to Sam she was just a blanket. When he did not know what a house was, when all he knew was a life with no home, a blanket was everything. A blanket was a wonderful gift, if he only knew what a house was. If he'd know that he'd toss the blanket aside, then he never would have let it get to that point, he never would have taken the blanket, he never would have loved the blanket as he did. He would have gone from the lonely streets to the home. If he only knew.
((Okay wow... I dunno what I was thinking, or where this came from, but I'll keep it, even know it's weird and kinda out of context.. I guess that's for you Leah! hahaha))

Charlotte wasn't sure why he had expected her to just be able to get a first aid kit in no time, but was actually glad she had one in her car. She gave a slight nod of the head, before getting up and running over to her cars. She ditched her shoes about half way, realizing they were slowing her down some with all the water in them. It did hurt, quite a bit, to be running barefoot on the all of the sharp rocks but she was just glad they weren't hot or anything. Maybe to people up here it was hot - she wasn't sure. This wasn't warm to her, and as long as the rocks weren't burning her feet she'd be fine.
Char fumbled a bit with the seats before getting them up and grabbing the kit from under them. It had been a good idea to keep one in her car, she'd figure out a way to thank her parents one day for it. She also grabbed a pair of sweat pants that had been too long for her - which was what made her believe they'd fit Leah since she was a bit on the small side. She grabbed a plain shirt that she didn't recognize and wasn't quite sure as to why she even had it in her car. It looked clean and smelled clean, but was just a bit wrinkled. It'd be fine for now, as it'd just be plain awkward if she was just there in her birthday suit.
Running back, Charlotte shoved the kit and clothing towards the man who had ordered her to get it. She had no idea how to use practically anything in there, which made her a bit useless really. She just knew how to stop bleeding pretty much, and she could tell some blood had definitely been spilled. She just really stood there, biting down with her bleached teeth onto her lip. She was freezing to death, but that was probably from the ice cold salt water. She longed for Texas, though, as at this point she'd probably already be half way dry with the sun. It was not something she was used to, being cold.

Paul may not be the sharpest tool in the shed when his anger got the better of him, and so even though he knew he was outnumbered, he would not back down. The team was uneven, but he did not stand down. Even when one wolf had their teeth sunk into his leg, and the other had their teeth around his throat. Paul let out a small whimper because it did hurt . . . a lot. But all he could do was fight back. He attempt to kick Leah off with his other foot, and waved his claw right across Jacob's face. He hoped he got the nosy alpha real good, and he hoped his foot would permanently bruise Leah's face -----
And that was when it was forced to an end. Paul was hot headed, but he was also loyal, and when his alpha gave him a command, he had no choice but to comply. And that frustrated Paul even more. He took a small step back from the other two wolves, and continued to growl. He had to growl to stop the whimpering because the sting of both wolves attack remained with him . . . and it would take a bit of time to heal indeed. He hated this entire situation, and he hated that his alpha commanded him to stand down when idiot Jacob didn't do the same to Leah, but rather, joined the fight and chose to attack him. Paul was not ready to phase back, and he was not commanded to . . . he was too angry to go back into his human form.

The pain hurt, and it only made Leah more angry at Paul. Leah wasn't the type of girl who was all mary sue and would scream 'save me!' at the sign of danger or a fight; but even she knew when not to bitch about others defending her. This was one of the times Leah was glad Jake had her back, as she would always have his. She let out a growl (and part whine) when Jake attacked, and was rather proud of her pack at the moment.
Granted they were breaking more rules in that moment, then ever before. However if you had to break rules, you might as well win the fight while doing it. Leah hoped Jacob kicked Paul ass---
."PAUL! You will STAND DOWN!" When Sam showed, and ordered Paul to back off, Leah was once again glad Jacob never ordered his pack to do anything. Leah still thought, at times the order was needed, but the longer she spend in Jake's pack, the more she respected having the choice. Paul wasn't anyones 2nd in command, he was nothing but Sam's grouchy bitch.
"Leah can you phase back?" Leah let out a soft whine in response, but her thoughts were anything but soft. Leah's biggest problem in life was she loved Sam more then what was good for her. Jake understood that, as he had been in the Sam shoes with the former Bella Swan. While she would love to fall into Sam's arms and stay there; sometimes she wished he would be more of a jerk to her. His kindness could break her a million times easier then ten moronic Pauls.
Jake, I'm gonna phase back so I can heal better. That was something they had learned about from when Jake had been hurt in the new born leech war. He had crushed almost every bone in his body when trying to save her. If you didn't turn back, and let the injury's heal properly then you would have to reopen and reset them. Thanks for . . . ya know, biting the hell out of Paul. Paul is an effing moron!
"Paul your an effing moron!" Leah had just turned back human and pain was now worse. What had been spread out over a larger area was now smaller and deeper on her human body, even if it was healing fast. She was on her right side, and had her left arm and leg covering her 'girl areas'. She was rather glad the Embry's girl had brought her some clothing. Leah looked up at her, but couldn't do much more then grit her teeth against the pain at the moment. She hoped the girl was ok, Leah would hate to have to explain to Embry how they gave his imprintee a heart attack. Leah looked up to Sam's face. "Sam," She said gripped the sand as if it would help take the pain away. "Maybe you should put a leash on that pet of yours!" She ground out before looking back at Char.
She hoped the girl would give the clothes over sooner rather then later, as Leah WAS naked on the beach here. "You ok?" She got out, before she had to grind her teeth against yelling out in pain once more.

The command came loud and clear and Jacob felt none of it. He just let go and backed up to look at Sam clearly. A sigh of relief escaped Jacob's lips and he shook himself and cataloged his body for any injuries. None. Then his attention quickly looked to Leah and then Sam's Alpha voice once again sounded in the air, and once again it glided over Jake's back. He decided it probably would be a smart choice though, and most of the people here had already seen him naked, excluding the human. He glanced to Leah once more and heard Sam ask her to change. Before he gave Sam what he wanted he would find out what Leah wanted. She was more important to him than Sam anymore. Her response came and he smiled at her. Anytime Leah.
The imprintee came running back with a medical kit and clothes and Jacob turned around to allow Leah her privacy, at the same time he changed back as well. Jacob stretched out and glanced at Sam. "Well, I would say you have good timing, but a couple minutes earlier would have been nice." He's was joking with him of course, that always seemed to make things better, being optimistic. He remembered when he hadn't always been so positive about things, and he had been wrong to be negative about it. He had gotten Renesmee out of it. Jake decided to turn around then, and just let his hand dangle in front of himself to cover up for the two ladies, but then decided against it, and sat down. He folded his hands into his lap. This would be less attractive to passer-bys and looky-lues.
Watching Leah and Sam closely Jacob kept his mouth shut for a little bit. He wanted to make sure she was OK, and not just from being attacked, but emotionally. He sighed, how he wished he could do more for Leah. He felt like his Beta did the world for him at times. "Well, not to be unhelpful or anything but I am not that clear myself. I was at my sisters when she complained that a certain someone was not home with her. Trying to be helpful I simply changed." Jacob shifted but then winced at the sand he was sitting on. He hated this. "After that I realized Leah was protecting Embry's imprintee from Paul, and I rushed to her aide." A shrug. He did not need to elaborate more. If Sam wanted the full story he could ask the culprit. Jake's mood was quickly turning. The sand itched.
On top of that he was irritated. His Beta had been attacked and he couldn't even do a good job protecting her. She was sitting there bleeding, naked, near the one person her heart ached for. Jacob shook his head and looked over at the only human near. "Yes, are you alright..." now what was her name? "Charlotte?" He looked her over, checking for any marks. For the most part she appeared unharmed, but he could tell she was getting cold. He could help with that... but either he would need some clothes or to change back. His fur was warm, and he wouldn't want her to catch a cold.

He took the kit from the human girl and tossed the clothing to Leah. "Help her change." He ordered the human. He did not really mean to, but his alpha voice just took over in times like this. He really could not help it. He just knew it had to get done, and yeah it's not like he has not seen Leah before, but he was sure she would not want Same helping her change, even know it would have gone faster and smoother, but he waited, he was still facing Leah, only he was not looking at her he was looking at the first aid kit the human gave him. It looked alright to him, and he began pulling things he'd need to dress the wound. That was all he could do for it now anyway. The Vampire doctor would have to come look at this. Though it was not that horrible of a cut. When Jacob had broken every bone in his one side, that was bad. Leah was not that bad. Sam almost forgot about Jacob until he phased back and spoke. 'Jacob!" Sam said in a very disappointed tone. He'd expected more of Jacob as an alpha. How could Jacob let this fight continue. He could have given the human girl a heart attack, then Sam would have to explain that to Embry, and that's not something he wanted to do. Sam was quite pissed at Jacob, but Sam could control himself, guess Jacob was not up to that point yet. Who knew. All Sam knew was that he would have to have a talk with Jacob about this later. How could Jacob let this go on. How could he take that risk. Oh it made him so mad to think about it, but again, Sam had a little something called self control, apparently Jacob's pack had none of that. Everyone knew Paul had none, so Jacob should have known. But nope, Jacob choice to fight back, rather then protect.
Once Leah was dressed he turned his attention to her wound, and packed it nice and tight. It'll stop the bleeding at least. It would hold until the Vampire doctor could come take a look. "Jacob call leech doctor and tell him what happen." Sam said not an order, but a normal order, any human would give. Sam would have done it himself, but he did not have the number, and Jacob was tight with the bloodsuckers. So better he did it. He soon noticed that Paul was still in his wolf forum. "Paul, get out of sight and cool off." He said, not in his alpha voice, though he'd use it if he had to, but for now he gave Paul the choice. The only thing that Paul had to do was get out of sight. A massive wolves standing in the middle of the beach was not good, he could not be seen by the passing cars. Again Jacob spoke, and the anger Sam held was all the more. How could JACOB let this happen. Sam trusted Jacob as an Alpha, but that trust was gone now. Jacob may be a great Alpha, but he just could not control anyone. How could Jacob just.... Sam shook his head mentally, he'd have to forgive and forget. Jacob was his team mate so to say. They were hear for similar reasons. Sam was here to protect La Push, and Jacob was here to protect the Cullen's.
Sam took the information Jacob gave, but did nothing with it. Leah was at the top of his list right now. The human would come next, but until Leah's bleeding stopped Sam would not leave her. It looked good so far, yeah Sam worked fast. He was used to dealing with this, he was the 'oldest' wolf so to say. After a second longer to make everything perfect, he stood up and looked to the Human. "Were you hurt?" He asked looking her over. She looked shaken but alright, maybe a little cold. He did not have a jacket, but if he walked close enough to her she'd warm up. He'd normally tell Jacob to care for the human while he takes care of Jacob's pack mate, but Jacob was naked at the moment, and the human would be freaked out by that, seeing as she was Embrys imprentee. Sam wished they could have met in a better situation, but you can't always get what you want right?! He looked to Jacob for a second as he whipped his blood soaked hands on his cut off jeans, then looked to Leah, hoping Jacob would get the hint and help Leah get the help she needed. Sam would take care of the rest.

Paul was furious and was in no position to calm down. From Leah saying he needed a leash, to Jacob bringin up Rachael, to the imprintee who was still standing there . . . Paul was enfuriated and he began to growl. He was not going to attack again, but he was too angry to leave. If there was ever such a thing as being paralyzed from too much anger, Paul was experiencing it. He knew his Alpha was trying to diffuse the situation by sending him away and telling him to cool off -- which was precisely what Paul needed -- but hearing everyone mouth off, and knowing that no one could understand him, was greatly frustrating him. Besides, if he stopped long enough to phase back, he would have to admit how much pain he was in right now. He felt no remorse seeing how wounded Leah was, and he knew no one would care to see that Paul was injured. He didn't want anyones pity . . . he wanted them to stop irritating him.
Paul glared at the small group of people, his main focus on Jacob and Leah right now. Idiots . . . if they had all been one pack this would be so much easier, but the morons had to go and mess things up. The bitterness from that fact was re-emerging as Paul felt himself about to lose control again. Had Sam not been there, he may have . . . but this time, he knew better. He just took one small step back, trying to force himself to run into the woods so that he could phase back into his human for, but he couldn't . . . not now. Not yet. Instead, he just stood there and growled.

Charlotte merely bobbed her head a single time, not wanting to erase the facade she had been trying so hard to keep at the moment. She just nodded once more at... Jacob's, she thought, question to confirm her name more than anything. She would love to be honest and say that she was freaking out, but for now she would just stick to how she was physically. She tried to hide fear or any emotion near that around most everyone, and she would try very hard to not ruin that now. But she was on the verge of it.
How she was supposed to change, Char honestly had no idea. She eyed him warily for a moment, before getting onto her knees and rather awkwardly assisting Leah in putting on clothing without touching her wounds, or blood for that matter. She was just glad she had a strong stomach. That, and that she had not eaten recently. It still freaked her out looking at it, so she just let her sidebangs fall in front of her eyes and mainly just stared at the ground for somewhat of a distraction.

Leah watched Char for a moment, knowing how this must be for her. Leah wondered how she would react whens he saw Embry again. Would she not want to be apart of this life anymore because one wolf could not keep this tail in his pants? Damn it Paul! Moron! "Damn it, Paul, your a moron you know that!" Leah was slightly amused about how Paul could not yell back at her. She could make all the cheap shots she wanted.
Leah was also trying to hide the feelings she was feeling. She still loved Sam with her whole heart. Maybe, she always would. When he had been hurt in his teenage youth, she had been the one to hold him. His Dad had left and Sam had taken the weight of being there for his mother on him and Leah had been there beside him. One look at Leah's best friend and it was 'Leah Who?'. When Sam was trying her help her she pushed his hands away, "Don't touch me!" She said harsher then she meant to. Every touch he gave her, every kindness he showed her broke her a little more, and Leah only knew one why to handle that sort of heart break. She lashed out at others! "Control your damn dog over there! This isn't the first time he almost killed a human! When will he go to far, Sam?"
Leah had used to think Sam was perfect as an alpha. He knew how the take control and use it. He gave his orders, which were well planned and everything went smoothly. He would put the pack's job over his personal feelings, and had been a strong and great leader. When she had joined Jake's pack she had not expected much from him. She had thought Jake would never be half of what Sam was. Odd, how she almost felt it was the other way now. Sam used control, Jake earned loyalty.
It hurt like hell, but Leah was healing fast. The bleeding had almost stopped now. It was light, and most of her skin was a twist of skin and scar tissue. By tomorrow afternoon she would be normal. She used her good side, to drag her self away from Sam, and closer to Jake, as if drawing a line between the two packs.
Your side, and ours.
Leah pulled the shirt low, and then pulled off the sweats, before tossing them at Jake. The pants would be small and tight, and it would be better then wearing his hands home. Leah's head rested on the sand, tired from her effort it took to do all that.

Somehow Sam's angry, alpha voice didn't even bother him. Jake didn't care what anyone thought about him anymore, at least not anyone who wasn't apart of HIS pack and the Cullen clan. So of course he just ignored it and continued to hide himself from view. He watched the activities about him, and almost got up to run to Leah when she got angry with Sam, but instead she was moving toward him, and he remembered to check himself before she got to much closer, sure they had seen each other before, but there was no reason to HAVE to if it could be prevented.
Then Leah showed him the kindness she only reserved for him and her brother these days, and gave him the sweatpants off of her own body. He smiled at her and looked around quickly before slipping on the pants and standing up. "Leah, would you like me to help you with anything?" He respected her, more than he did anyone else. Even after his two previous best friends, Quil and Embry, had joined his pack, it was Leah he had wanted as Beta. Leah had been by his side, through everything. At first it was about getting away from Sam and protecting Seth, but it became more with time. Jacob trusted Leah more than anyone else. Especially with Renesmee.
Paul's growling caught Jake's attention. "Paul, I could kill you for hurting her. . ." He didn't care that Sam was there, he didn't care if Sam thought him immature or anything else along those lines. He could never, would never command Leah that way. Or any of his pack, it wasn't who Jacob was. Jake had not asked to be Alpha, he hadn't wanted it, but it didn't matter what he WANTED. He was the Alpha, the true alpha, not even Sam could challenge him, and if he did. . . it wouldn't end pretty. He shook the thoughts and turned his attention back to his Beta, and then again to Embry's human. She was shaken, but nothing too horrible, he could kill Paul for that too, but he figured he would let Embry have the honors this time.
