Jasper adjusted the collar of his coat before putting his hands back into his pockets. Somehow, he had ended up in Philadelphia. Truth be told, it did not matter where Jasper went, or how far he traveled. He was still haunted by his past. . . one that was quite recent as well. It was the middle of the day and Jasper desperately wished it was night. At night, there were less people. But since he did not sleep, he had to wander at all times during the day and night. The year was 1948 . . . it had been quite some time since he left Maria and her clan. He had his reasons for leaving. He was very private about them . . . then again, the only people -- or vampires -- he had spoken to were Charlotte and Peter. And they had known his situation. Peter had helped him escape the prison he was trapped in. But Jasper could not remain with them forever. He could not live the way he had then . . . but what else could he do? How could he deal with the way his victim's felt in their last moments? Self pity was not a quality Jasper allowed to consume him. He did not feel sorry for himself. He felt sorry for those who had to deal with his existence.
As the rain started to pour, this only made things more inconvenient. He did not like being out in the middle of the day and he did not like rain. He was just very cynical about everything right now . . . it was mostly due to one thing. He was thirsty. Seeing people around him made the temptation and urge even greater. He was trying to do whatever was necessary for him to survive, but the people he did kill to quench his thirst was still a difficult task to do. He could still feel their fear and pain. Was there any way to escape this? He could not bear to feel what his victims felt before they died. He carried those emotions with him . . . unwillingly, and when they began to diminish, they arose again once he killed the next of his victim/s. His eyes were dark . . . the blackest of black. People did not notice. He rarely looked people directly in the eyes any more. He kept his gaze lowered: he overall kept to himself. It was the safest thing to do for both him . . . and others. Being surrounded by so much temptation was too much to endure. And yet . . . he somehow managed to prevent himself from killing a human the second he felt thirsty.
As these thoughts flooded Jasper's mind, he saw a small diner that did not look to be too crowded. He went inside, and to both his relief and disappointment, it was virtually abandoned. He shook his head a little, as the small raindrops dripped from his blond strands of hair. He stood there in the door way for a few moments, looking at the crowd that surrounded him. While there were not many . . . there were still enough to As he looked, his eyes rested on a woman. She looked young, petite . . . stunning. There was a certain beauty about her that made her familiar. He had never met her before, because he would have remembered . . . but her fair, pale skin, and her breathtaking appearance made it difficult for Jasper to look away. He was staring, and he knew it. But it was practically an impossibility to change the direction of his gaze. It was not only that. He could feel her emotions from a distance . . . they were unfamiliar. They drew him to her. So he stood there, a little dumbly, near the door way of this small diner where he just happened to come across this woman.

Another day was nearing it's end, another day Alice had spent in a tiny diner in Philadelphia waiting for someone who didn't seem to come. It seemed like months but it had been years, infact. In 1920, when she was transformed, was when she had started seeking this unknown male. She hadn't given up on her search, she didn't plan on it. If she would choose to stop waiting, she didn't know what she would do with herself. Alice had nowhere to go, she didn't know anyone.
The little vampire looked at the ticking clock from the table she sat at; almost time to call it a day and roam the near by woods until the diner re-opened. It was a very repeatitive life. She sighed as she got up off her chair and started to walk to the door. Alice looked up at the person whom had just walked in intinctively. A smile drew on her face; finally, he was here. Her waiting had finally payed off. She didn't know this boy, but felt a connexion.
The golden haired boy had noticed her; his eyes were following her. Alice walked up to him -- he was much taller than she was -- and stopped infront of him. "You've kept me waiting a long time." She said.

It did not take long for Jasper to realize that the young beauty was looking back at him. Perhaps it was because he was simply staring at her . . . but there was an expression on her face that confused him. Her warm smile only strengthened whatever jovial emotions he felt emanating from her. Even at a distance . . . they were so strong. Who was this woman? She was not like Maria or the others. She was not like any one he had eve been around.
He wanted to go up to her . . . speak to her . . . get to know her, but he was frozen in place. All he could do was stare. He did not even bother sitting down. He did not care about the awkward position he was in . . . and he did not care if anyone else was looking. His eyes were fixated into her, and he did not know how he would ever look away.
He made no attempt to move when she came closer to him. There was something about her indeed. What he felt when she was near was something he had never experienced before. It was joy. Pure, absolute joy. There was a confidence about her . . . the way she walked up to him . . . the way she smiled at him . . . the way she spoke to him. The emotions from her were addictive. Though he had only seen her a couple of seconds ago, he felt drawn to her . . . he wondered how empty he would feel when she walked away from him. These unfamiliar feelings were refreshing . . . they were something Jasper had longed for, for so long without even knowing it.
Her words only raised more confusion. But instead of babbling on, asking questions . . . he momentarily put aside the curiosity of her apparent expectation and lowered his head in a slight bow. "Sorry Ma'am." Jasper -- vampire or not -- still felt he needed to be a gentleman. That would sound quite hypocritical considering all that he had done in the past . . . but this woman in front of him, was someone who he needed to respect. Someone he needed to be polite in front of. He would soon find out, that she was someone he simply needed.

Alice examined this stranger, he was definatly a vampire, his eyes were red as hers were, his features were flawless and his skin pale and white. His golden blond locks were drapped with rain drops. He was very attractive and seemed very friendly. The petite vampire giggled lightly as he bowed and appolagized for his tardiness. "I'm Alice." She introduced herself holding out her hand to him as a hope he would take it or shake it. An act of friendship for now. She wanted to get to know him, now that she hadn finally found him, she wasn't going to let him leave too fast.

"Jasper Whitlock," he introduced though, somehow he felt that she already knew his name . . . somehow. He noticed her extend her hand and did the only polite thing to do . . . he took it in hers. It was so small, so soft . . . and with one simple touch, he felt even more of her radiance. Her unfamiliar emotions were like a drug to Jasper. Now that he had found someone like this, how was he ever going to leave them? She had been waiting for him . . . what did that mean exactly. Were they to go somewhere, or would this one meeting be their first and last? The thought of that greatly worried him, but for now . . . he would live in this moment.
He continued to watch her, expressionless though inside he felt immense joy. He had been working so hard for the past few years to control the emotions he felt from others but with her . . . he did not want to. He welcomed her emotions and he wanted to feel them as much as he could. "It is a pleasure to meet you," he added politely . . . though the word pleasure was a great understatement.

Finally, she could put a name to the face she had been seeing in her visions for over 40 years. Jasper. The name suited him very well, Alice found. She caught he was probably form the South, from his way of speech and light accent. He was a gentleman, too. "Like wise." Her voice rang happily. When Jasper took her hand -- his hand was quite larger than hers, firm and stong -- she flashed a larger smile, her teeth gleaming.
"Closing time." The owner called through the diner. Alice looked at the man, then back up at Jasper. "Do you want to talk a walk, with me?" She asked him, sheepishly, afraid he'd leave.

Had Alice not turned, he would not have noticed the comment about the small diner closing. He kept his eyes locked on Alice, hoping it would not make her feel awkward . . . but he could not bring himself to look away. If there time was limited, he did not want to waste it.
Jasper did not need to think about the question for even a second. He knew right away, and was overwhelmed with joy when she offered her company for a little while longer. He could not be too selfish to force his company on her. All he knew was that if they were to part ways, it would be on her preference because he had no intention of being the first to walk away.
"I would be honored," he replied. He offered his arm for her to link hers through. A polite gesture, yet was a little uncertain as to whether it was too forward. He wanted to remain respectful, and so found himself waiting for her response, and hoping he had done the right thing.

Alice's eyes met his instantly when she had turned back to him. She barely knew him, but felt attached to him. If he were to leave her, she'd be disapointed, sad, heartbroken. They had barely even had a full conversation and yet, she felt like they had known each other for ages. Her eyes didn't leave his -- they were held by his as his were hers -- as she linked her arm to his and walked out of the diner. The rain had stopped now, the clouds clearing and the dark night sky could be seen here and there, stars glisening in the open spaces. The moon was hidden, but tried to shine through thinning clouds.
The two vampires walked in no particular direction, lost in each others' gazes. She felt safer, being outside now, this late at night, with Jasper there next to her. But know that she had found who she was looking for, what next? All of her visions over the past 48 years were about him, mostly. Everytime he considered leaving where ever he was to come her way, she would see it, and she grew acustom to his face in her visions.
Alice felt content know that she had found him finally, and complete next to him. She felt like they had known each other for the longest time. But their silent walk had brought them farther then she thought they be and time was passing by. She had to get to know as much as she could about Jasper before he left -- if he would eventually leave. "So... Where are you from, Jasper?" She asked him, usuing his name for the first time. But it felt like she had said it many times before, but it was also new to her; a little odd, though she liked it, it sounded nice.

Jasper was unsure how to answer that question. He wanted to tell her about his life . . . but at the same time felt far too ashamed to admit any of what he had done. The possibility that she already knew entered his mind . . . but perhaps that was just the cowardly side of him wishing he did not have to explain himself about the evil things he had done in the past few years. She might not be so willing to walk with him if she knew. But the fact that he was not telling her made him feel that in some way . . . he was deceiving her; that he was lying to her and he could not stand that either. He was completely torn.
"Texas," he explained to her. "Houston in fact." That was where he was born, and where he was from. No matter what; that fact would never change. Though he knew he could never go back there. "What about you?" He wanted to know everything about her. From where she was from, to how she was expecting him. But one question at a time . . . he just much preferred the conversation to remain on her since he doubted she had as many skeletons in her closet as he did. She was far too innocent for any of that . . . he could feel it.

Alice wanted to know all about Jasper, she had waited too long to meet him. Her visions never showed her much more about him than his physical appearence. But now, as long as he didn't have to leave, her questions would be answered -- not all at once, but eventually.
So he was Southern, Alice had thought so, he had a very small accent. When Jasper returned the question to her she had to debate it in her mind. She didn't really know where she was from, she didn't know anything from her past, not even her last name. Eventually, she spoke, realizing she had made Jasper wait for an answer long enough. "Well, I'm not really sure. I believe Biloxi, but I don't know..." Her answer was vague, and as she looked at him, she felt she need to explain her lack of knowledge.
"I just 'woke up' 28 years ago somewhere in a forest on the edge of Biloxi. I don't know anything about myself, my history... I don't even know my last name..." She admitted shyly. "But I hope to find out more, someday." (got the years mixed up in my other posts sorry)

Jasper was sympathetic towards Alice. It must be so frustrating not to know such things. He wished he could do something to help her . . . but not even his own gift was helpful in this situation. He wanted to offer to help her, but once again, the thought of being too forward entered his mind. "I am so very sorry," he said, beginning to vocalize his thoughts as he spoke with complete sincerity. "I hope you are able to discover the missing parts of your past. It must be difficult not to know." And yet, she still seemed so happy.
He wanted to say that sometimes, it was better not to remember . . . but she may disagree. At times, Jasper wished he did not remember. It made him feel all the more guilty about what he had become. But, the grass is always greener on the other side. If he was in her situation, he would want to know his past. He would want to discover who he was . . . where he had come from . . . his last name.
He pulled himself out of her thoughts, realizing that if indeed their time was limited, he did not want to waste it in silence -- caught up in his own endless thoughts. "If I may be so bold to ask . . . the words you spoke to me at the diner, of my expected company, I was curious as to how you knew . . . " He hoped the question was not phrased too awkwardly, and that it was not selfish to avert the conversation to a topic that would satisfy his own curiosity . . . but if it meant learning more about her, then he had no regrets.

"No need to worry about me; for all I know, I may be better off not knowing." Her little chirpy voice chimed. Not knowing had never stopped her before, and she didn't think it would ever stop her. "Thank you. Perhaps I will know someday. But, I am fine with what I remember, what I will remember and what I am doing that will keep me remembering later on." She smiled. Alice hoped Jasper would be there with her when she finally found out her past; she wished he would never have to leave.
Alice saw that he was thinking, debatting perhaps. But he spoke. "Oh." She whispered shocked. "Very bold," She giggled a little before getting serious, she forgot nobody knew. She was too absorbed by the fact that Jasper was finally here, infront of her. But she got serious. "I... I saw you coming. See, I have... a gift -- a power. I see the future." Alice paused, examining his scarlett eyes, afraid that he would fear her and leave. But she went on.
"When I 'woke up', I had a vision. And in it, I saw you. You were in each one I've had since then. I knew I had to find you." Thus, 28 years later, she did. The petite female observed the man with whom she had her arm linked, not wanting to find that her was afraid of her, or found she was a freak.

She was so optimistic. He really was not used to being around someone with a glass-half-full attitude. It boggled his mind . . . in a good way of course. He was taken by her and her positive attitude. After being around so much destruction and greed, she was the most refreshing vampire to be in the company of. And how fortunate he was to be the one to walk alongside her. "That is quite a positive attitude to have," he said, once again vocalizing his thoughts. He was not used to speaking his mind so much. With Maria, he never really had that liberty. He had not even told her he wanted to leave . . . perhaps she sensed it, but he could never tell her that he was going to abandon her army. He had just left.
He could not help but smile when she laughed. It was the most beautiful, most melodic sound he had ever heard in all his life. He then listened attentively, intrigued by the gift she described to him. She too possessed one . . . it was interesting to hear about indeed. He never knew that a vampire with such a power existed. And thank goodness such a powerful ability belonged to such an innocent vampire, who would only use it for good no doubt, and not to gain power, or land, or status. He remained in a pensive silence before speaking.
"That is the most interesting ability I have ever come across." He felt honored to be the one present in her vision. Though, he was not sure what that meant. Perhaps it was some what of a warning . . . he knew he was not worthy of such a kind hearted woman. Did she know everything he feared to tell her? "I am so very glad that you did," he commented on her remark regarding her happiness in finding him. He smiled at her, with a hint of shyness in his expression.
"How vivid are your visions? They do not cause you pain, do they?" He found the questions just spurting out and felt embarressed by the eagerness in which they were asked. Both were relevant, but he should not be bombarding her with questions. He had to know though; both things were of so much importance, he could not hesitate in asking them. If she did not know about his past, he would tell her and the thought of her departure at the revelation of what kind of monster he really was, terrified him to no end.

Alice smiled, flattered. "Thank you. You're very kind." She replied, her cheeks blushless as they were, would of had, of course, if she were human. Alice hadn't had a conversation with anyone since... well never. Jasper was the first person to whom she had spoken to in her entire immortal life. She didn't mind, though, he was someone she hoped she'd never have to stop talking to. She felt welcome around him, not so lonely.
Alice tilted her head a little to the side as Jasper told her he hadn't encountered a gift such as hers before. "Have you met many vampires? Do all vampires have abilities?" She asked herself have exsited. She was very interested, she didn't know of there being other vampires with powers. Alice waited a little, and asked; "Do you have one?" She was asking a lot of questions, but her curiousity was strong.
The little vampire flashed her brilliant smile again. "So am I." She agreed. Finding Jasper was the best thing to happen to her -- from what she could remember, but even then.
"Though they are very realistict, my visions don't harm me -- not physically -- sometimes emotionally. But otherwise, it's like watching a play in my mind for a brief moment." Alice explained her visions in more details for Jasper.

Jasper should probably use this opportunity to explain his own gift. The sooner she found out, the better. "Not all vampires do. There are a few who possess a variety of them." Maria did not have a gift . . . neither did Peter or Charlotte. Perhaps some of the newborns he killed did have gifts, but they never lived long enough to be able to control them. "I do," he answered, quickly mentally formulating a suitable explanation of his gift to her. "I am able to sense and manipulate the emotions of others that are around me."
He wanted her to know that he would never manipulate her own emotions . . . he would never want to. "Your kindness, and happiness, was part of the reason I was so drawn to you." Not the only reason, but that was definitely a large part of it. He smiled as she expressed her mutual feeling regarding the situation.
He was relieved to hear that her ability did not physically harm her . . . though he still wished she would not be harmed by it in any way, and would not have to carry such a burden around. "I wish you did not have to feel any harm from them . . . do you receive them often?" He still wanted to know more about this exceptional ability she had.

Alice found it extremely interesting, what he was telling her. She had so much of the vampire world to learn about, it was very intreging so far. Could it be so bad? Besides the human blood? Her brows raised when Jasper admitted to having an ability of his own and explained it. It was extremely interesting, aweing. At least she wouldn't feel so different. When he admitted her mood was one reason why he was drawn to her, Alice couldn't help but smile, but then question why hers -- not that she was complaining, but hadn't he ever come across anyone else whom was this joyful? Or was she more joyful than the avrage person? "I find that very..." She searched for a word to discribe what she want to say about his ability. "Very neat." Was the best she could come up with, but it still proved her message.
Alice grinned a tiny grin. "Well, I haven't had many visions that have caused me to feel anything unpleasant. But you are very kind to be concerned." She praised. "I can search the future a little bit at my own will, but at other times, they will just come naturally to me."

He was relieved that she was not fleeing from him upon discovering this gift of his. He was certain that some people found his gift invasive . . . especially though who preferred to keep their feelings to themselves. But she did not seem reluctant to be in his presence . . . he felt genuine fascination from her. It was wonderful. It seemed impossible that he would sense any negative emotions from her . . . could such a vampire really exist? "You gift sounds incredible, but also sounds like it could be a burden at times." He hoped he was not being too rude, he just felt the impulse to tell her everything that came to his mind.
"How long, have you been having these visions?" He felt like he was interrogating her . . . he was just so curious.

Alice took a moment to think. She hadn't had any buddensum visions -- yet. "I do not know, I have never had an unpleasant vision... But I guess it could be." She estimated. As they walked a little more Alice didn't look away from Jasper, probably afraid he would vanish the second she did. But she knew he was really there, his arm linked to hers.
"Since I 'woke up'... I don't know if I've ever had them before, when I was human, but an other mystery about my past won't hurt me." She tried to sound as optimistic about it as she could. Deep down she did wonder, though, about her past. What was her hometown? Who were her parents and siblings -- if she had any? What was her full name? How did she end up to the middle of a forest? Her questions went on. But now, at least, the question that had bothered her for the longest time was finally answered; who was the golden-haired boy in her visions. It was a relief when he finally walked through the diner door earlier that afternoon.
Alice studied his face for a moment. "Is yours a burden, sometimes?" She was too curious not to ask him.

She was always looking at the positive aspects of things . . . and it was so refreshing to be associated with someone like that. "I am relieved to hear that it is not . . . and that hopefully, your visions prove to lead to more positive results than negative." Seeing how he was walking with her, her arm linked through his . . . he had no complaints. "How long ago did you wake up, if you do not mind me asking."
He thought about the question before answering. "If I let it be, it is." In the first several years of his vampire life, it was a burden . . . but of course it was his own fault for not having better control of himself when he had been around her. "I have learned to control it better. When I first developed this ability, I was unable to prevent myself from allowing to be influenced by surrounding emotions."

"Thank you." Alice liked his politeness. Jasper was an easy person to be around, it made her feel content. "I don't mind." She shook her head a little. "It was 28 years ago. In 1920." She declaired in an even tone, pronouncing the words a little slower than she would normaly. Alice didn't know how Jasper would react to this. She wouldn't ask him the same question, not now at least, it didn't feel like it was the right time.
When he explained that he had found a way to control his ability, keeping it from being a burden. Alice was glad that he didn't have a burden from it. "How does it work, exactly. Your ability -- if you don't mind me asking you. How do you change emotions and so on?" Alice didn't want to ask too much from him, but her curiousity held a better side of her.

1920. So he was older than her . . . by quite a bit. That did not surprise him a great deal. He was technically rather old . . . and he felt relieved that she was not older, so that she did not have to wander the world on her own for longer than she had. "And you have been on your own ever since?" He has, concern in his voice as he asked a question to possibly confirm his thoughts.
If anyone else had asked him how his ability worked, there was a high possibility than he would demonstrate. But the fact that it was her, well, he did not want to show her what he could do. He would much rather explain instead of manipulating her genuine emotions which he found perfect. "I do not mind you asking any question." He wanted that much clear. Even if he acted like a coward, and did not tell her about his past . . . maybe it would be easier if she asked questions that would eventually lead him to explain it. "It requires a bit of concentration, and that is it. I have not used it too much recently." Since he overused it when he was with Maria. "All I must do is be in close proximity with the person, and I am able to change how they feel. But it is temporary for once I cease using it, or am out of sight, the feelings I forced upon them diminish."
He paused before continuing. "It works both ways however. I can open myself up to other people's emotions and let them overwhelm me, which in return, causes me to experience what they are." That is what happened with Maria. He had no control over his power, and he let himself become flooded with her emotions -- which were quite negative ones which caused destructive behavior.

Alice nodded when Jasper asked about if she had been alone since she had woekn up. "Yes, I've been alone for all 28 years. I might of seeked to destroy myself were it not for my visions; they always promised me better things were to come, and I just had to be hopefull." So far, everything good her visions had shown her had come true eventually. And now, one more was checked off the list when she found Jasper. "But, I don't believe I'll roam alone forever." She knew that she wouldn't be alone for eternity, she actually couldn't stand to be alone, for a reason unknown to herself. Hopefully she could stay with Jasper. "Do you mind me asking if it was the same for you? And when you woke up?" She knew so vey little about his past. But she left it up to him to choose if he wanted to tell her or not.
Jasper's ability was very facinating, Alice found. Emotions were very powerful abstract things and being able to control them seemed amazing, really. "May I ask you if you are using it right now?" She asked sheepishly. The girl wondered this because she had never felt so happy in her entire vampire life, not until she met him.

Jasper felt regretful that she had been alone for so long. He wished he could have met her sooner, so that he could have spent that time with her. But he was with her now . . . and that was far better than not being with her at all. "I am so very relieved you had that motivation to continue." Meeting her now, felt as it he was meant to meet Alice all this life. He would have always felt that emptiness if he never crossed paths with her. He did not want her to roam alone forever . . . but he knew better than to say something right now. Again, he feared being far too forward.
"I hope you do not," he said, the implication in his voice without actually saying it in so many blunt words. Her next question was one he wanted to answer, but again . . . he was worried she would be afraid of him. She had every right to be. But he wanted to be honest, and eventually, explain the source of all of the scars on his body which he was sure she was already curious about. Perhaps he could be vague for now . . . or was it better to go into more detail early on? "I woke up surrounded by the vampire who had transformed me. She was building an army of new borns, and I was merely an addition to that in the beginning." Things had progressed further than he ever had thought . . . if he had not become her favorite general at the time, he would have been killed.
His mood suddenly transformed, and he smiled at her next question. "I am and I am not at the same time," he told her as sincerely as he could. "I would never want to deceive you in such a way. I am not changing your emotions . . . but rather, sharing the ones you are feeling." He hoped that did not sound odd or complicated, so he continued. "You feel so happy, so hopeful . . . those are two emotions that I have never experienced. I am allowing them to consume me, each moment I am with you."

Alice grinned at Jasper. "I am too." She was really glad she had fought the urge to distroy herself; she would of never met the man next to her. Now that she looked back on all her 28 lonely years, the wait was worth it. Alice never felt so happy before.
"Thank you." They walked a little bit more and she couldn't help but ask him. "Do you? Roam alone?" She kind of regreted it after she asked him; her question was a little strait forward. Her expression was vaguely on the sheepish side now.
Jasper explained his past, it was very basic details but Alice didn't mind; if he wasn't comfortable with tell her too much, she was fine with it. So he had been used as a solder in a newborn army, it sounded pretty dangerous. Though Alice was still new with the vampire world, she had been a newborn herslef -- crazy, blood thirsty, uncontrolable... -- she tried to imagine an army of them. Leathal. But the little vampire didn't feel any discomfort being next to Jasper. His past now explaned the scars she saw now -- she had been distraced, her eyes locked to his the second she met him -- she looked back up at him, feeling a little remorse for him. Those cressant shaped scars coverd his neck -- as far as she could see.
So Jasper wasn't changing her mood? "That's odd. I mean, I am really sorry to hear that you've never felt hopeful or happy before, but the truth is, neither have I." [/blockquote]

"Yes. Prior to this I remained with two friends. They were nomadic vampires however, and eventually, I decided to leave them and wander alone." That sounded rather pathetic. He would have to explain to her why it was that he needed to be on his own and figure certain things out . . . eventually. "I have been alone for a few years . . . I never expected to want to be in the company of anyone else. You certainly proved me quite wrong about that," he admitted.
He was trying to understand her reaction, and since she did not express it verbally, he would have to rely on her emotional response. It appeared to be void of any fear towards him, or anger, or even the slightest discomfort. She seemed completely at ease with his answer . . . and that surprised him. She felt . . . sympathy, but in such a way that Jasper felt even more affectionate towards her. He had never experienced that kind of warmth from a person before.
"You have not?" That made sense. Considering her desire to give up, and her lack of knowledge pertaining to her past . . . he was not too surprised. She just did an incredible job of concealing it, and replacing it with more positive and optimistic emotions. "It is what I can feel from you right now." Was there some sort of conflict between what he was sensing from her and what she was actually feeling? Was his ability out of tune?

Again, it was very interesting to hear about him and his past. It shocked Alice, but also made her feel a little happy, when Jasper admitted he wanted her company. She wished they could of met much earlier, seeing as they were both roaming a lone for some time. "I've never had company before, but I'm realizing that it's a lot better than being alone." She admitted.
Alice shook her head. "Never." She confirmed. "After you explained your ability, I thought that, perhaps, you were doing it. And it didn't bother me," The little girl admitted. "Because I knew that, deep down, I was truely happy right now." And she enjoyed this new feeling. Happiness. She didn't want it to go away.

When she said that she was truly happy, he felt surprised, flattered and honored that she felt that way in his company. He had never made anyone feel that way . . . especially without using his ability to do so. "I feel the exact same way," he told her. Being in her company, made him all the more worried that he would soon be out of it. This fear was what made him ask the next question. "If I may ask . . . what else have you seen in your visions, apart from meeting me?" Were they meant to journey together? He certainly hoped so. It would make his future something much more to look forward to than what it was prior to meeting her.

Alice couldn't stop smiling when she was around Jasper, it made her even happier that he felt the same way. She hoped he wouldn't have to leave, but the chances seemed slim, since they were bothe traveling alone, what reason would there be for them to separate.
"Um... well... nothing has come to me yet. I could look..." She reluctently looked away from him and at where they were. It had gotten really dark out -- she hadn't noticed -- and they were in a... park? Well it was very empty. She looked back him. "Do you mind if we stopped? It would be a lot easier and probably safer." Searching the future while walking wasn't very safe, even for a vampire.

He suddenly felt like he was pressuring her. "Oh, no. Please do not search on my account." He did not want to rush anything. "Forgive me. My impatient curiosity got the better of me." He looked around, also realizing the isolation they found themselves in . . . but he loved it. He was not distracted by humans; but even if there were humans around, his attention would still remain solely on Alice. "If you do not feel ready . . . please do not force yourself on my account." He certainly was not being polite.

"It's no problem, really. I am kind of curious, seeing as nothing has come to me yet." Alice reassured him it was fine. "See... the future is very selective. It's constantly changing with every decision someone takes. It never stays the same." The little vampire explained.
"Curiousity always gets the best of me somehow." She admitted shortly. Nothing was coming to her, so she would go look for it -- if it didn't come to her first. As she opened her mouth to speak again, she stoped walking. A vision, ironicly.
After a moment, Alice's eyes refocused and looked up at Jasper once more, grinning a little. "Well, the future looks promising. For the both of us." (bad post :S )
