☾ Jacob Black ☽ Jake couldn't do this. A funeral for his mother. She died, she died and left him with his father and two older sisters! Rachael was there for him, he knew that but now he'd have to rely on her for so much more. Now that his mother was gone he'd never get to tell her what he had been to embarrassed to the other day. She'd called I love you to him, but he'd been on his way out with some friends and had just shouted you too, back to her. now he wished he had ran back, given her a hug and told her how much he appreciated her and everything she did for him. What was he going to do with out her? He was having difficulty doing up his tie. That was something is mom had always helped him with. "Ray! I can't do this!" He yelped, he wasn't mad at her, he was frustrated with the world. Which was kind of normal for his age any way.

Rachael had just left her room, were Rebecca was crying. She had to leave for a moment. Rebecca was always so dramatic, and her emotions right now showed it. She was crying so hard Daddy said she would make her self sick. Daddy was alone in his room as well. He seemed so lost with out Mom, and Rachael didn't know how to help him. She gave him hugs, and had helped cook the past few nights. She would just keep doing that until he got less sad.
Rachael heard Jacob from the other room and walked in. She was wearing a black skirt and jacket, with her mothers peals. They had been a gift to Sarah from Billy on their wedding day, and Rachael had asked if she could wear them today. Rachael was only 11, but in the past few days she felt like she had grown up to someone older. "Here, let me help you." Walking over she took the ends up the tie, that she didn't know how to work, and began trying to work with it. "Something about the fox chasing the rabbit around the tree and down the hole." img149.imageshack.us/img149/6598/leahwaynejohnwayne.png [/img] When Rachael entered the room Jake sighed, she was wearing his mother's pearls, She looked so grown up and he could see a little of his mother in her. "Oh Ray what are we going to do with out her?" He asked throwing his arms around his sister. He was still young enough to hug his family and it was kind of expected at the moment. He was so lucky to have his sisters, Ray mostly, seeing as Becca was too upset to do much of anything at the moment. Was she feeling like he was, that he should have spent more time with her, said more to her? Was she feeling so guilty and angry at the same time? He didn't know how to deal with this. While his father was so lost was he supposed to pick up the slack? He sighed and then gave Ray a shaky smile. "I can help you too you know." He said feeling a moment of strength.

When she finally got his tie set she smoothed her hands over it. She didn't comment on his question of what they would do. She didn't know, and couldn't even guess. Her mother was dead, and she would never bake cookies with them. It was an odd thing to miss, but her mother cooked cookies called forget-me-nots. She said you gave them to your friends at school on the last day and they would not forget you over the summer. Rachael knew they had knew meanings now. She missed her mother calling her Petals, and she wanted to hold on to that name so hard right now. "Come on Jacob, you don't have to worry about anyone but Jacob today, k? We will take things as they come." [/blockquote] ((Icons not of my own making. Credit goes to 'Leah' of MP.))

Jake looked down at his tie, Ray had done it up perfect. "Thanks." He commented, shaking his head a little as Becca let out a particulary loud wail. He didn't know what to do for his older sister. She was always upset about something but lately it had obviously been worse. She'd been going on like this forquite awhile and Jake was suprised that she had any strength left to continue the way she did. His dad was another story all together. They were lucky if they saw him. he was so upset he was almost always shut up in his room. Ray was the one keeping things together and Jake who was usually very self obssessed, as most kids were at his age, felt bad for this. It wasn't fair that she had to work so hard! It wasn't her job to take care fo the family and house. Ray told him he could focous on himself, just getting through this day was going to be difficult enough having to deal with himself. Maybe if he focused on helping other people, he'd be busy and it wouldn't hurt so much. "Are people comig back to the house?" Jake asked, thinking of their small house and the mess it must be at the moment.
