- - - - - - - - - -Where was she? Deline had absolutely no idea. Her crimson eyes scanned around the woods. She was confused, and worst of all, alone. Like she had been her whole life. Well, practically since she was two as a human she had been on her own. She'd taught herself to be tough, and never show emotion. Well, that had all fallen down becoming a vampire.
At a slow human pace, Deline walked around. There was a look of pure confusion and sadness on her face. It was not Texas, that she knew for sure. That meant her chance of running into Aro again was most likely slim. She had a feeling she was in Oregon or Washington, as it was cool and she could smell the salty ocean not all too far away. She managed not to curl her nose at the strong smell of salt.
Sighing, Deline popped to the ground by a tree. She pulled her knees up to her chest, finally letting herself have her own little break down. It was a silent one, and not likely to draw any attention from humans. Since she had become a vampire, she had never let herself do this. Why was it any different now? She had no idea. Maybe because she wasn't in Texas anymore, she wasn't in her home.

Not much had changed within the last few months. Renesmee was still growing and was that of child, but far wiser than she should be. Everyday she would do something that seemed to be unsettling. To see her daughter advance so quickly it was frighting, but at the same time amazing. Anyone who met could not deny she was not special she was very special. And she proved that every single day. She would bring a smile to Bella's face every time she showed her what she had done.
Bella had decided to go hunting alone today. She had been able to resist human blood since the first day she was changed. Something unusual, but Bella had never exactly been normal. Her life was so much better now that she was a vampire. She had everything she ever wanted and so much more. Bella picked up the scent of some deer and followed the scent. Bella could feel her body tense ready for the hunt as the venom flowed through her mouth. As soon as Bella finished her meal she picked up the scent of another vampire.
Bella followed the scent keeping some distance as she saw the vampire. "Hello," Bella said carefully. She kept some distance not wanting to alarm her. If such a thing as crying was possible Bella was sure that's what this vampire would have been doing. "Can I help you?" Bella questioned concern was in her voice. Bella wanted to know what was wrong and if perhaps there was something she could do to help.

- - - - - - - - - -Deline did notice the scent of vampire, but did not move. She doubted they would approach her, as the vampires she had met had been cold. Then again, she had only met the Volturi and Maria. Neither were exactly friendly experiences, especially with Maria. It probably hadn't been smart lunging for her. The only good thing that came out of the Volturi was learning about her power.
"Hello," Deline jumped at the sound of a voice, despite the fact she knew there was another vampire in the woods somewhere. She turned her head towards the vampire, remaining silent. Her crimson eyes looked over her a little, and was surprised with the gold eyes. She wondered how that could possibly be. She guessed that that happened when you got older or something.
"Can I help you?" Deline noticed that there was actual concern in her voice. That surprised her. "I don't think anyone can. I've been torn some many times." She said softly. In her opinion, it was true. She felt like she had been broken beyond repair. She was rejected by her family as a mere toddler. That had scarred her for life, and it probably always would.

Bella examined the girl before her closely her eyes were crimson meaning she fed off humans. She would to have to warn her to not hunt within this area they couldn't allow that it would cause trouble. The last thing Bella wanted her life seemed perfect for the moment and did not want it change anytime soon. The girl was surprised when Bella greeted her. Something Bella hadn't been expecting as she should have known she was here.
Bella smiled at the girl wanting to help somehow she didn't think her life could be that bad, could it? "Maybe I can help." Bella wasn't sure what she could do to help maybe if she told her what was wrong that would help. But she didn't want to force her tell her if she wanted to keep it personal, but if she did remain in Forks she would need to know she couldn't hunt in this area. Bella would save that for last if there was something she could do to help Bella would do the best she could. Bella often wanted to make others happy even when she was human and the expense of her own happiness. Now she was happy Bella knew there was nothing that would change that. "I'm Bella by the way," Bella figured she should go ahead and introduce herself.

- - - - - - - - - -"Maybe I can help." Help? Her? Deline seriously doubted that. She had only gotten help from friends back as a human, and even that hadn't helped. She highly doubted that some stranger could help her with her family issues. Well, they were family issues. She still loved her family, but felt guilty. Her last words to her sister had been 'I hate you.'
"I'm Bella by the way," Her words broke Deline away from her thoughts. "Deline. I don't think you can help. No one has so far." She said in a soft, sad tone. Maybe she should have joined the Volturi guard, then she always wouldn't be alone and so confused. She knew it was too late for that, as she had no idea when she could possibly see them again. Aro had said she was always welcome, though.

"Perhaps if you told me what was wrong I may be able to," Bella insisted. Bella didn't like how sad this girl seemed. Something horrible must have happen or maybe she doesn't like a being a vampire a newborn perhaps? "Are you new to this life?" Bella questioned. She wanted to help, but not sure if this girl wanted her to help her. She kept saying no body could help her, but Bella didn't believe that. There should be at least one person who could help her. If Bella couldn't then perhaps Carlisle could if it was something that he could help with. It was about finding out, but she understood if it was to personal she wouldn't make her tell her.
Bella could guess several things that my be wrong, but she wouldn't know for sure until Deline told her. She may be new to this life and still adjusting or perhaps even hate being a vampire. Bella loved her life as a vampire, but there were few who actually chose to be a vampire. And even rarer to have a family who would love you forever. It was what Bella always wanted and now she would have it. But not everyone was as lucky.

- - - - - - - - - -"Perhaps if you told me what was wrong I may be able to," Deline gave her an ice cold glare. Why should she tell all that had happened to this stranger?! "Are you new to this life?" If the year is still 2009, I'd be 'eight' so that probably isn't consider new, she thought. It could be 2034 and she'd have no idea.
"The question would be, what is right. I've tooken complete care of myself since I was five, and haven't been loved since I was two. I never had a mother that cared for me, or a father that gave me advice. My friends tried to help me, but it didn't work. I did every thing to try to win their love back, I went aneroxic just to become thinner in hopes of being more beautiful. Nothing ever worked. I watched all of my closest friends die before my eyes, then was damned into this eternal, soulless life. I've been alone since 2001, and had to figure everything out by myself."

Bella listened to Deline carefully. Each word surprised Bella how someone could go through so much? What could she possibly say in response to that. Bella hadn't experienced anything like that. The worst she had gone through was when she was human. A time she hated to think about and rarely did. She tried to block those memories away, but wasn't able to completely. When Edward left her, her entire world seemed meaningless. She only kept going for Charlie's sake. But even then she knew Charlie and her mother loved her. She had family and even a few friends who didn't completely desert her during her despair. Mike and Angela being the only ones from Forks High, but Jacob as well. If it hadn't been for Jacob things would have been a lot worse.
"I am so sorry," Bella replied she really meant it. She didn't know how she could help her exactly. Being alone would be difficult something Bella had never experienced. "I can't imagine what it must be like for you. To have been through what you have, but maybe things will turn around. You can always be hopeful for that. There is good in the world that you may find eventually." Bella was confident that she could find something meaningful someone who cared. Bella wanted to help her, but how could she even begin. Never have gone through what she had. She had always had someone with her even during her darkest times.

- - - - - - - - - -'I am so sorry,' Deline heard her. She could hear real sympathy in her voice, something she had hardly ever had in her life. Most words that came after that were harsh, or something stupid like 'You think you have problems? I think my boyfriends cheating on me!' That had gotten on her nerves quite a bit, but she had learned to put up with it most of the time. It wasn't easy.
"I can't imagine what it must be like for you. To have been through what you have, but maybe things will turn around. You can always be hopeful for that. There is good in the world that you may find eventually." The words didn't give Del any hope what so ever. "I've hoped, I've even prayed! Nothing ever guess right anymore. Even when I get offers to join someone, I decline with false hope I'll find someone. I know I'm just dreaming. No one would want someone like me."

"Offers?" Bella questioned. "To travel with someone?" Bella wanted to make sure she understood offers. If she had been offered to travel with someone even if it was a small distance at least she wouldn't have been alone. Bella couldn't understand what it was like to have no one. As she had said before. She had never been a situation quiet like that and was uncertain what was the best way to help Deline. Perhaps just being a friend would help. She had met several vampires in her short vampire life. Most had come when the Volturi to prove that her daughter, Renesmee, was not an Immortal Child. She was thankful that time was over and she didn't have to worry about that or what would happen to her daughter.
"Why do you think that?" It seemed Deline should think more positively, but with how her life was that was probably difficult. Bella was known for always wanting to try and make others happy, but with Deline that proved to be difficult. She was uncertain what to say to help if there was anything she could.

- - - - - - - - - -'Offers?' Yes, offers. That's exactly what I said, Deline thought bitterly. 'To travel with someone?' She shook her head once. "Not exactly travel. One was to join the Volturi Guard, and the other was too join Maria in the Newborn Armies." She explained, glancing away. She still hated Maria for leaving her alone all of these years.
'Why do you think that?' Deline heard Bella ask. She took a deep, unnecessary breath before explaining her pessimism about that. "Well, incase you have noticed, for one I'm a major pessimist by this point. I'm extremely plain, and when I touch some vampires I practically collapse. And finally, who would ever work hard enough to even try to repair my heart? It's mission impossible."

"The Volturi?" Bella questioned shocked. And even more so when she heard Maria. If it was indeed the same Maria she was thinking of. Since it was a Newborn Army Bella was confident she knew exactly who. The vampire that had changed Jasper. "Maria?" Bella didn't like either of the offers Deline had told her. Bella had refused the Volturi even when she was human. They had known she would have some talent an unknown talent, but a talent to be sure. "Are those the only vampires you have come across?" Bella questioned wanting to know the answer to this question. It would make some sense if she had declined those offers who wouldn't? They would lead you to nothing.
"All vampires are inhumanly beautiful, and you are no exception." Bella contradicted. Bella did not think this girl was plain she shouldn't think so negatively about herself. Bella had whens he was human, but that was different she was human. Now she was beautiful gorgeous even. She was a vampire and loved her life. Bella looked at the girl questioningly. She collapsed? "What do you mean collapse? Why do you do that?" It made no sense of a vampire to suddenly collapse. Bella shook her head. This girl really needed to be more optimistic about her life. "You clearly don't know many vampires." Bella was certain there was a vampire out there for this girl if she tried to search. Bella had seen probably close to all the vampires she ever would that day when the Volturi come. Their witnesses Carlisle's friends. There was bound to be someone for this girl.

- - - - - - - - - -'The Volturi? Maria?' Del nodded once. "Yes. The Volturi were hunting for the Newborn Armies, and instead found me. Not long later, I came across Maria. Tried to kill her, didn't really work." She explained softly. Attempting to end Maria hadn't been her smartest idea, that was was sure of.
'All vampires are inhumanly beautiful, and you are no exception.' Deline shrugged. She wouldn't agree, even if she ever looked in the mirror again. "I may be, but with my appearance I highly doubt I look beautiful." She knew her appearance was horrible. Torn and ripped clothes, covered with blood stains.
'What do you mean collapse? Why do you do that?' With a sigh, Dede spoke again. "My ability. It just is a pain, quite literally. If I touch you, I'd know if you have an ability and what it is if you have one." 'You clearly don't know many vampires.' That was true. She didn't know many vampires, at all.

[[It's similar to Eleazar. He had difficulty reading her ability. Deline could probably know what it was, but it would still be repealing her. So maybe she wouldn't completely collapse if she was to try and read her talent.]]
Bella needed to know if the Volturi were close to Forks. If they were searching for Newborn Armies it would probably be in the south, but you could never to be to sure. "When did you come across the Volturi and do you know where exactly?" Bella didn't want the Volturi anywhere close to her family. They wanted Edward, Alice, and herself. And possibly even her daughter. Just the thought angered her. Being angry tended to allow her to see her shield that much better. She could focus clearly on what she wanted to protect or if she wanted to lift the shield all together. This was something Edward loved being able to read her thoughts. It was still taking time, but she was getting better.
"You tried to kill Maria?" Bella questioned surprised. She obviously didn't succeed. Perhaps if Maria had a newborn army the Volturi were looking for her. It would make sense. She was still upset not knowing where the Volturi were if they were planning on coming to Forks. Trying to gain what they wanted. They would not get what they craved. Never. Bella calmed herself down she didn't need to get upset. They may have returned to Italy for all she knew which would have suited her just fine. As long as they stayed away from Forks.
Bella smiled slightly a bit more calm. "I'm sure you could be," Bella replied. This girl needed to be optimistic, but she wasn't' going to try and change her mind. Not if she didn't want to change it. "That's why the Volturi offered you t join them," Bella said understanding why the Volturi had asked her to join. The Volturi only collect the most valuable talents and Deline's talent sounded useful. Bella wondered if Deline could read her talent. It was possible.

- - - - - - - - - -"When did you come across the Volturi and do you know where exactly?" Deline wondered briefly why she was asking. Why would it affect her life? She couldn't think of a reason why, so she decided to answer. "Not too long ago, perhaps a two or three months. Somewhere in Texas, but I can't be too sure where."
"You tried to kill Maria?" Del merely nodded at that. She had tried, and failed. Not that she thought she had an honest chance winning against her, she was just to mad to think straight at the time. She was just grateful that she hadn't ended her life then and there. That wouldn't have been happy for her. She didn't exactly want to die not that she was a vampire. She had no desire to burn in Hell for the rest of eternity.
"I'm sure you could be." Deline had a feeling she was right, but hardly acknowledged it. She was probably too much of a pessimist for her own good, but honestly didn't care. "That's why the Volturi offered you to join them." Nodding, she spoke once again. "Yes. Aro mainly was wondering if it would work on humans. But I have no desire to be used by those who only care for power."

Bella looked at Deline as she told her where and when she came across the Volturi. "Are you certain they were just after the Newborn Armies? Where they going to return to Italy after the finished that?" Bella couldn't help from asking. She was worried that the Volturi were going to come here. Alice would have seen it if they were to come. Wouldn't she? She shouldn't worry, but it wouldn't take long to get from Texas to here. At least not for a vampire. It wouldn't take very long at all. It worried her more than anything. The Volturi wanted many talents they had. She was certain they would try anything to get them too. But they woudln't be able to touch them Bella had learned to control her shield greatly since that day.
"If the Volturi know your talent. If they really want it they may try to gain it." Bella knew this was true. Aro wanted many of her families talents herself included. It was something she didn't like nor did she want to happen. As long as they stayed in Italy and didn't make any plans to try and get the Cullens they would be safe. Alice would see them if they planned wouldn't she? So much uncertainty around the Volturi how far would they go to gain what they wanted? Bella didn't think they would give up so easily at a refusal.

- - - - - - - - - -'Are you certain they were just after the Newborn Armies? Where they going to return to Italy after the finished that?' Deline nodded, though she was still unsure why it would matter to her. Had they broken the rules? Did they have a Newborn Army, or had they told a human about vampires? She didn't think Bella would be the kind of person to do that, though.
'If the Volturi know your talent. If they really want it they may try to gain it.' That explained a lot. Deline no longer had thoughts about that they had broken the rules. She didn't want to believe they had, though. She just seemed to nice, too compassionate to be killed. Unless it was all an act, but she didn't want to believe that either.
"That explains quite a bit. I don't know if Aro really wanted it or not, because after I declined the offer to join them he left. I don't know whether that means he wanted to find a differen't way to get me to join, or if he merely didn't care enough to fight for my talent."

"Aro doesn't necessarily force vampires to join. But if he wants a talent bad enough he will try to find away." Bella was worried about the Volturi if they would come back to Forks and force their way to gain the talents they wanted. Bella would rather die than be apart of the Volturi. They were only concerned about gaining power. It was expected to some extent, but still unreasonable. They were power hungry they had proven that when they had come to Forks a couple years ago. Even if they didn't allow their actions to seem injustice Edward he picked up all their strategies to gain what they wanted.
The fact the Volturi will do nearly anything to gain a talent terrifies me." Bella admitted. If you run into the Volturi with a talent they want they may find a way to gain it. It was something no one could prevent. It's best to try and avoid the Volturi if you don't do anything wrong then there is no reason for one to even run into the Volturi. Unless you have bad luck. Bella seemed to have a lot of bad luck when she was human, but now things were looking positive she had everything she wanted and so much more.

- - - - - - - - - -'Aro doesn't necessarily force vampires to join. But if he wants a talent bad enough he will try to find away.' Aro's words flashed back in her mind. "Well there is always later. Perhaps we will run across each other once more. It would be so very interesting to have you within the guard. So many possibilities. So much we could find out!" She didn't realize she was whispering the words under her breath in a perfect imitation of Aro.
Shaking the thoughts away, Deline looked back over at Bella as she spoke. 'The fact the Volturi will do nearly anything to gain a talent terrifies me.' Nearly anything? Even that thought scared the living daylights out of her. What lines could they cross just to get a single person? It's not like she had asked for an ability, but apparently given one anyway.
"That's always a pleasant thing. It seems we've run across the vampire version of Hitler."

"Perhaps not as extreme," Bella replied. Bella didn't really know that much about Aro or the Volturi, but knew they had a job to do. Edward had once told her they were not the villains as she saw them, but it was difficult to believe. Even more so after the events that happen not to long ago. They wanted several of her family herself included.
"How did you come across Forks?" Bella asked a bit curious. "Were you traveling in location in particular?" Bella was curious as to what this girl was doing here and she still needed to inform to not hunt within this area. It would be a danger to do so. This was a small town and they needed to try and remain undetected by humans. They did a good job everyone tended to leave them alone. Bella had been a bit abnormal she had been drawn to the Cullen's. To Edward. A slight smile formed on her lips at the thought of her husband. It was still strange to think of Edward as her husband something she had never pictured him as, but would have it no other way. She would always be his and he would always be hers. Forever.

- - - - - - - - - -'Perhaps not as extreme.' Deline thought it was more extreme that Hitler, unlike Bella. The Jews were the humans in this case, though. They were 'weak' and only there to 'support them'. She knew it might make since in some twisted minds, but in hers it probably would never make complete since that they weren't there for a true reason.
'How did you come across Forks? Were you traveling in location in particular?' Forks? Wasn't a fork some type of silverware, used for eating? Deline then realized that the only way it would make since if it was a town name, or something of the sort. Was it a providence in Canada? She hadn't even been out of the US before, though. She doubted it.
"Erm, no. I was just running away from myself, my past. I suppose that didn't work out, did it?" Deline's tone turned slightly harsh at her own words.

Bella smiled slightly. That didn't sound like a good reason and she wanted to keep optimistic about this. "Perhaps for the best then? You have run across me and maybe that is a good thing. You should have at least one person you can talk to. A friend." Bella wanted this to encounter to be good. For this to be the best for this girl. Bella wanted that more than anything. She wasn't sure how long this girl planned to stay as long as she didn't hunt in this area.
Bella could tell by Deline's eyes that she drank human blood. "If you do get thirsty I do ask that you don't hunt in this area, though." Bella needed to get the warning out there. Now she would know. "Me and my family have a permanent residence near by and it would cause trouble for us." Bella hated the idea of losing anyone in Forks. Even if she was a vampire they were still her friends she just tended to avoid them. She didn't want any of them to be killed by a vampire. That was the last thing they needed.

- - - - - - - - - -'Perhaps for the best then? You have run across me and maybe that is a good thing. You should have at least one person you can talk to. A friend.' Friend? That surprised Deline thoroughly. Most people wanted nothing to do with the pessimistic redhead. It was a sadly true fact that she had gotten used to for a while. "Friend?" Her voice faltered.
'If you do get thirsty I do ask that you don't hunt in this area, though. Me and my family have a permanent residence near by and it would cause trouble for us.' Deline was not entirely sure what she meant that, but did give a nod. She was surprised that they had the restraint to live by humans. She couldn't last more than thirty minutes in the presence of humans without it being too uncomfortable and having her be forced to leave.
