Leah was shopping. THAT was a very GIRL thing to do. Let all the other wolf-buts, call her just one of the guys again. HA! Shopping! Dress shopping! Man shopping even! She would check out every guy in Port Angeles and then think over again and again on her next patrol. She's make them groan!
Smiling grandly to her self at these thoughts, Leah walked down the sidewalk with her purse over one shoulder, and a slight skip in her step. Yes indeed. She's make them groan...[Open to anyone]

Bella walked down the sidewalk of Port Angeles she smiled it had been some time since she had been to here. She walked beside Leah she wanted to do something girly and even though Bella didn't go out to often she was glad she came. "I'm glad I came with you today," Bella said to Leah as they walked down the street to the next store Leah had in mind.

Leah had one job, 'keep Bella safe'. Judging from history, it was not a easy job. The others would be near by, but the Leach-Victoria-was getting closer to La Push, and with Bella (and ok, Leah too) needing to get some shopping done this was a stable plan.
"Yeah." Leah said and hoped no one could hear the sarcasm in her voice. Jake was going to owe her big. Leah planned to think of someone naked around Jake next time to gross him out. "Tons and tons."
Leah did not have a real problem with Bella for the most part. Leah's issues came from Jake, who thought of Bella in a guy, allot. It was gross for a girl to see a guy think of another girl like THAT.

"So where to next?" Bella asked Leah she didn't really care which store they went to it was nice to be out of Forks for a little while.
Her mind drifted to Edward she wonder what he was doing today hopefully he wouldn't be to upset that she had left Forks without telling him, not that she was going to tell him. And Alice wouldn't be able to tell where she was because she was with the werewolves.
She refocused her attention on where she was going she bound to trip or fall over something if she wasn't paying enough attention. Even if she was paying attention she usually ended up hurting herself.

"I umm...I need new jeans." Leah said, knowing this was why she got voted to shop with Bella. Girls could go into dressing rooms and Ladies' rest rooms. Oh The Joy Of Being The One Female Wolf.
Besides, Leah could not control her anger perfectly yet. She was still lost her temper and changed randomly, which meant she ripped up allot of good clothes, which only made her angrier at the time. "Maybe the thrift store, about a block down?"
Leah was trying to smell everything, and nothing at same time. One one hand, her noise would tell her when a leach was near. On the other...Ugh!..Bella smelled of them.

Bella nodded her head, "That sounds good." She could probably find a few more outfits. Even though Alice loved dressing her up she liked to wear casual clothes it was sometimes a hassle with Alice.
She walked down a block down and there was the store it looked like it had some good items inside. Bella walked into the store and glanced around the average sized store it had plenty of items.
She looked at Leah she wasn't completely comfortable with her. But she was happy she came with her she hadn't had a girls day out in a while, particually due to the fact that Charlie had grounded her but now she was free to do whatever under his approval.

"Yeah. Sounds good." Leah rolled her eyes. Was this was she'd come to? "Look Bella, I don't mean to be rude," At lest not so early in the day, "but when we buy new clothes could you...wear them..."
Leah looked over at her, "No offense," yeah right, "meant to your blood suckers," The undead and creepy, "But you really smell. It's burning my noise and makes me want to puke."
"They're to damn sweet smelling, and with you having to be so close..." Leah was trying not to often the girl. Granted she hated the choice Bella was making and Jake's mooning over her but, Leah was in a simi good mood today since she was plotting against the men in her pack.

Bella nodded in understanding she seemed to always have this problem with both vampires and werewolves. She didn't think either of them stunk, but she was human her senses weren't that great.
"Sure," Bella said wanting to try to please Leah. She knew when she got back to Forks Edward or Alice or whichever one she ran into first were going to complain about how she smelled. This was starting to get a tad bit annoying but she wanted try and please everyone right now.

Leah could tell by the one word answer that Bella was either not happy with the comments Leah, or hurt. Either way it annoyed Leah that she cared what the leach lover thought. "I didn't mean to be rude." Leah's tone sounded as annoyed as she felt. "It just burns my nose to be this close to you, PLUS I been to be able to smell in case you fan club comes to find you."
Not that either the Cullens or Victoria would come here on a sunny day.

"I know you didn't mean to be rude," Bella explained. "Everyone seems to complain that I smell." Of course that's what was expected her being with vampires then spending time with the werewolves. Bella made her way to the clothes and searched for a nice outfit for her to wear.
Bella wasn't going to travel that far from Leah, but she wanted to be on the safe side. She found a few outfits but picked a nice pair of jeans and a cute blue shirt.

"On the up side, you only smell because of the people," Using the word loosely here, "You hang out with. If you would pick a side and stop going back and forth like a yo yo you wouldn't sme--" Leah stopped seeming to realize she was being rude again. Wolf Temper. Maybe Bella would understand being she seemed to understand Jake so well.
Leah held up her hand in a 'oops', way and went to look at Jeans. She didn't want to fight all day. She was tired of fighting and always being bitter but she also couldn't help how she felt. Maybe once Bella smelled cleaner then she would be able to try to forget about the vampire Bella lived with. (With out her father knowing).

Bella narrowed her eyes at Leah after she finished her statement even though she stopped it wasn't something she wanted to hear. She loved Edward and always would, but she was also Jacob's friend why couldn't she have both why couldn't anyone understand this!
Bella paid for her clothes and put them so she wouldn't 'smell.' Bella crossed her arms and waited for Leah to finish shopping. This wasn't what she had in plan when she agreed to go shopping with Leah.

Leah wasn't shopping, she was watching Bella with an annoyed look on her face. "Look, I didn't mean it." Leah was annoyed at her self, and annoyed at Bella for not understanding. "I mean...I meant it, but I didn't mean to mean it to you."
GRR! Leah's hand shook slightly and she took a few deep breaths. "I didn't mean to say it out loud." Leah gave a sigh that sounded more like a annoyed hiss. "Look, don't get all huffy about it, I didn't mean it. Or mean to mean it out loud. Whatever." Dramatic pause. "Sorry, ok."

"Okay." Bella could tell she was trying so she would try to make this more pleasant for Leah. She hoped that the rest of this shopping trip would be more pleasant.
"Do I still smell?" Bella asked trying to make the conversation a bit more lighter. She figured she didn't smell as bad as she had, but she had no clue.

Leah relaxed when Bella let it go. Her hand stopped shaking which was good. Freaking out and going all wolf in this place would blow the cloak and dagger theme they had. "Thanks." Leah said about letting it go them when Bella asked Leah walked over, slowly and inhaled.
Her nose wrinkled. "Not as bad. Your hair still smells of them but, at least the heavy sent is gone." Leah paused for a moment, "Do they really smell good to you...to humans?' She didn't mean it as a insult, and this time it didn't sound like one either. She was honestly just wondering.

"Yes they do, Bella replied. She loved Edward's scent in particular. She remembered the first time to really smelled his scent she smiled at the thought of Edward.
But of course all of the Cullen's smelled good to her. The werewolves smelled good to her too. "It might just be me though," Bella added after all she was a bit of strange girl.

"I doubt it's just you. They are supposed to smell good so people will get with in biting range." Leah stopped and didn't look at Bella, "Not that, they bite you." Leah ONLY said because she didn't want to fight with Bella over it. Leah thought of them as ticking bombs.
It was sort of morbid to hang out with the dead all day, but Leah wasn't here to get snappy. She turned and picked up some jeans and held them to her hips. "You know, Bella," Again, Leah was aware she was about to put her foot in her mouth. "Don't take this the wrong way, because I sort of mean it as a complement but...Your a morbid girl. Maybe that is why all this supernaturally whacked out stuff is ok to you."

Bella tried not to say anything about the Cullen's just not biting her, but other humans as well. She was trying to make this pleasant. She frowned slightly, but tried to no show how displeased she was with that statement.
"A morbid girl?" Bella had never heard that before. She didn't think of herself like that, but it sort of made sense. "It does make a little sense I suppose," Bella said once again trying to be pleasant. She liked it when Emily called her 'Vampire Girl' better than 'Morbid Girl.'

"I didn't mean it badly." Much. It was a good thing Leah did not know that Bella was comparing her to Emily or she would have gotten more then her share of trouble. "I just meant you seem....way to ok with this. When I found out, I was so angry that I could have killed someone. Your just like....ok with it all."
Leah shurged and held a shirt out to Bella, "This will make you less pale." Again, it was just Leah's bluntness. She meant to say it would look good on Bella. "Greens often look on people with brown eyes." It was her attempt to be nice.

Bella knew she didn't mean it badly and shrugged it off. "Well I guess it is a bit strange, but it doesn't really bother me that bad." Bella didn't have a problem with having a vampire for a fiancee or a best friend for a werewolf.
The reason Bella had chose the blue shirt was because Edward had commented how good she looked in blue. She knew Leah was trying to be nice so she took the green shirt. "Thanks," she quickly went to the dressing room and changed the into the shirt.

Leah wondered what one talked about to a girl who dated your mortal enemy. Leah took her clothes in the dressing door and spoke though the wall. "So ummmm....What do for kicks in Forks? Besides date vampires." Leah put on her new jeans to make sure they fit and decided to wear them out, and just pay at the counter. She tired on her tan shirt and liked the way it hung to her body.
She would have to make sure NOT to think about this later on when the guys could hear her thoughts.

"Not much really," Bella replied. There wasn't much in Forks maybe go to the movies, but that was about it. Of course if she actually interacted a little more with her human friends she would have probably had a better answer. But even when she first came to Forks there wasn't that much to do the best thing was go to Port Angeles.

"Yeah, Same with La Push...well, not the vampire bit, but the 'Nothing' bit." Leah walked out of her dressing stall and looked in the full length mirror. Yes, perfect. "There is the beach, but even that gets predicable, ya know?" Leah thought about for a moment.
"I wouldn't want to live anywhere else however." But she often thought of moving away, to be free of this. If she could learn to stop changing maybe one day she could leave the pack and Sam behind.

"Yeah I do," Bella replied she remembered briefly even though it still pained to remember when Edward had left she would go to the beach and day after day it did get a bit predicable.
Bella really didn't care where she was as long as Edward was with her, but she would miss Jacob and her father if she was any other place. She didn't know what to expect for the future she had so much to worry about the Volturi would be coming to see if she was immortal eventually. But after graduation she wouldn't have to worry about that Carlisle was going to change her. But if she married Edward he would be the one to change her this is what she really wanted.
She stopped thinking about her problems and focused on the present, "So any other places you wanted to go to?"

"I don't really have a plan for today." Leah admitted. "They guys just said, Take her shopping, keep her safe and stop bitching about it." So Leah had taken Bella shopping, was going to try to keep her safe and plot to make them groan about all the men she looked at.
"If there is something you want or need to do, we can do that. I am mostly here, to make sure you fan club don't get to close." Leah went to the counter and paid for her things, and even the shirt she picked out for Bella. (Bella should get something from the day of dealing with her). After that Leah walked back to Bella, "Hungry maybe?"

"That sounds like a good idea," Bella agreed with Leah. Even in Port Angeles there wasn't that much to do. She walked out of the store into the streets of Port Angeles it was sunny and she had missed the sun. "So where do you want to eat?" Bella asked Leah she didn't really care there were fancy to casual restaurants.

Post by Leah Clearwater on Dec 11, 2008 20:08:05 GMT -5
Leah sighed and looked down to Bella's face. (Down because in Leah's heels she was taller). "Where would you like to eat?"
Once out of the shop and on the sidewalk Leah keep talking, "If there is something you want to so Bella, or somewhere you want to eat just say so. I don't want to be all controlling and say lets go here or lets go there. Besides, Jake's knows you to well. If we didn't go someone he knows you would go then he will bitch at me for being controlling and honestly....Jake's not my favorite person in the world anyway, I don't want to give him a reason to dog my ass. No pun meant."
Leah hoped she had not gone 'to far' with the Jake comments but she also wanted to be able to say 'I tried' when Jake came around.

Bella smiled at Leah she understood how Jake would probably be upset it wasn't to hard to do. Having others read your thoughts and know and know what you were up to would be annoying. She knew someone else that could read thoughts and smile formed on her face at the thought of him. She was glad quite often that Edward couldn't read hers that would be quite embarrassing.
"Well nothing fancy," Bella said she looked around the street there was a small diner not to far away. "How about that diner down the street?" Bella suggested. It looked alright to her cheap and probably a good meal.

Smiling that things just might work out Leah gave Bella a approving nod. Then again, Leah was wolf enough to eat like one. Which meant, allot. "That place looks good. I've never been there, and I like to try knew things."
Leah started walking to the place making sure to stroll slower then her quick pace. Humans (and clumsily ones like Bella) could keep up better that way. "You've been here before?"

Bella smiled a bit more at Leah's approving nod. "No I haven't been to this diner," Bella responded as she walked down the street trying to watch where she was going. The reached the diner and they were seated and given menus. Bella glanced at Leah wondering if she was enjoying herself.
Bella glanced around the diner noticing the diner wasn't that full. She scanned the menu it was what you expect at a diner hamburgers, salads, sandwiches.
