[/u][/center][/size][/font].:Basic Personality:. Maria is happy when she is controlling the situation. She likes to drink; and while she can control her needs around humans, most often dose not see the need to. She likes to be in control of the people and events happening in her town, or areas she has claimed as belonging to her. She will use whatever tool she can, be it other vampires, minions, newborns, her body, or even her once favorite pet, Jasper Whitlock. Maria is bitter over that one getting away. Her army fell apart with out him there to control it. Maria hold deadly grudges, and if crossed dose not let it go. Emotional, and dark, Maria is power hungry, and greedy.

.:Family:. Usually travels with at lest two others, but once they get old, she disposes of them and moves on to, two new friends.
.:History:. Maria has very little memory of her human life. So little if she were to try to tell you about it, she could only tell you her name, and that her father was not very kind. She was bitten and turned by a vampire who thought she was pretty, but soon tired of him and moved on, making her own coven.
Nettie and Lucy were not made by Maria. When the came together after all had lost there homes in a battle, it was not from love but need. Maria wanted revenge. She wanted her land back! They (Maria, Lucy, and Nettie) were building an army. One meant it get her home back, and keep her in power.
Along the way to Huston, she would meet and turn her biggest weapon, and tool. Jasper Whitlock. Oh Maria would use that one every single way she could. She liked the idea of having his 'gifts' at her control; to be able to build army's and make them last longer, and bring her foes to there knees! YES!
When her 'coven' turned on her, it would be her 'tool' that would save her, and help her bring down the Nettie and Lucy. Maria, after having reclaimed her home, would use him to expand her holdings, and start and empire. She rewarded him often and even promoted him and keep him alive longer then her other newborns, since he pleased her so well, in so many ways.
When he lost the heart for what she was doing, she began looking for his replacement, and even toyed with the idea of killing him, to get rid of him. When he left before she was ready however, it brought her newborn army to it's knees and the Volturi almost to her door. She would be very angry, but would focus on reclaiming her home rather then chasing him down. She still hold a grudge.
She would forever try to rebuild her army with out the Volturi knowing, and try as well to reclaim her home. As with any amount of power, Maria's troubles lie not in getting the power, but in holding on to it. She has never been able to hold on to it for long. When ever she would build up a small army, and get her home back, there would be someone else to come along and take over it again, which would only cause her to build her army and take it back...

Not allot is known about Maria. I took what was known and built from there to add details and history. S.M. has a book coming out in '09, where she is giving detailed history's of some characters; and if any of my information needs to change I will edit as needed.
