Challenge Twenty-Two: Second-Person
Write in second-person point of view.
You Are in Control
Today is one of the most important days of your life. You will have the control, the power, the position you have always craved. You have planned for years, centuries even, to finally have this chance. You will be able to prove you will be the better ruler. That you will be far grander than the Romanians. You along with your brothers, Marucs and Caius, will be the leaders of the immortal world. You will prove just how much grander you are, how much better you are. You will never be defeated. You will set forth the one law taht all must keep. You will destroy anyone who dare the challenge you or break the rules. You will be a coven that is to be feared, but you will appear justified in all your actions. You won't allow yourself to appear like the Romanians do. Cruel and harsh. You may very well be like this, more Caius than yourself, but you will hide it. You won't allow others to know how power-hungry you really are.
You keep your eyes on the Romanian castle as you approach. You make the order. Kill, destroy, do whatever it takes to bring the Romanians down. Everything will go as planned. You have planned everything to perfection. Nothing will stand in your way. You will not leave today without your power. You have craved it for so long and always will want more. Once you gain this power, once you have this control nothing will ever stand in your way. You will be known as the Volturi. No one will dare challenge you. You will allow the leaders of the Romanian coven to live. You will prove to them how much grander, better you are. You will gain so much more power. You will never have enough power you will always want more. And more is what you will get. You will find talents, give demonstrations prove how much better you are. How much more powerful the Volturi are from the Romanians.
You have killed a few in the Romanian coven. You enjoy ripping them up you enjoy watching them burn. You had gained the Romanians trust only to use it against them. Only to make them suffer. To make them fall. You know everything about them. You know the best strategy. You knew who to attack first. This is why you will win. This is why you will be the leaders of the vampire world. This is why you will be victories. Each plan you had along with your brothers was thought out. You have won. You are now in control. But now the real task begins. You have gained control, yes, but you know have to let everyone know. You have to show them you are the leader. You may need 'demonstrations' and you will need to enforce the one law you will set forth. You must make sure all vampires keep their existence a secret. You will destroy any who break this one rule. This one rule that can be broken down in so many ways. This will be a challenge, but you will succeed. After all you are so much better than the Romanians. You are the prefect ruler. You will make the Volturi seem justified in all their actions and all the while you will always be craving more power.
