I was told by Emily & Sam that this quote had to be put here. Basically Sam insulted Ness, and Emily told him not to talk to baby Ness like that . . . "Yeah," Leah piped up, not giving Sam a moment to even reply. The door was opened, and Leah wasn't holding back. She had dated, loved and been with Sam, and then had been forced to living in side his head when he broke every promise to her he could. She knew his guilt, and his own buttons to push.
Leah wasn't holding back this time. Even if it damned her.
"Don't talk to her like that, Sam." Leah's voice held the edge to it, the Leah edge. She was willing to bet, every person knew what was coming. "I mean, who the hell are you to judge someone by their parents? You Dad couldn't even stick around! Looks like your filling his shoes, however. Leaving Emily ever chance you get? Spending all your time, with the good old boys, who even with all you 'fun' bonding keep leaving your pack for mine!" It wasn't her pack but honestly, Leah didn't care. "You just keep digging you own grave hole Sam. Your going to end up, alone with nothing but a pile of broken promises. 'I love you le-le'." Leah mocked words he had said to her once, " 'I would never hurt you, le-le'." Then came the final blow. As she spoke the words, she ran her finger tips down her face . . . tracing where Emily's scars were. " 'I'll never hurt you Emily'. Nothing but a broken record, of broken promises."
